Can you do negative stars for a review. I'd say stay away and find another vet…read more I am in complete horror about this Vet. I brought my basically healthy cat in there. Since coming back home.. That day.. She started throwing up continually and now is basically laying around and barely eating. There is absolute no concern for the animal or the owners wishes. All this vet does is want to charge you more and more to bring your animal back in there. I am completely disgusted.

I can not say for sure that this practice's lack of thorough and adequate care caused my Maggie's…read moredeath but I certainly feel confident it contributed to it. I took Maggie to WSAC on a Monday morning after she had spent all night vomiting. We had family visiting and I had discovered the kids had left candy all over their room the day prior (Sunday) and was concerned Maggie had ingested some. Dr. Cruz ordered blood work & a xray. The lab work indicated pancreatitis which Dr. Cruz said could be explained by the candy consumption. She said they would keep her the rest of the day to give her fluids intravenously to flush her system and I could pick her up at 5pm and then bring her back the next day for a repeat round of fluids. When I arrived to pick her up at 5pm Dr. Cruz said, "She did well today so I'm going to let you take her home but you HAVE to bring her back in the morning for another day of fluids." With her being released, I assumed she was stable even though she looked absolutely horrible. I was given 3 medications to give her at home, one required it be taken with food. The time between when I picked her up and the next morning when we returned was a nightmare! A couple of hours after getting her home I realized she was unable/unwilling to eat or drink. She did try a couple of swallows of water but in less than a hour she vomited it all back up. I managed to get one pill in her but that was so traumatic for the both us. Her poor mouth was bone dry and there was no way I was going to force another one down her throat. I was afraid she'd choke. We were back at WSAC the next morning at 8am, waiting on Dr. Cruz to arrive. While waiting, a vet tech came over and looked in Maggie's mouth then immediately called Dr. Cruz on her cell phone. Maggie was extremely dehydrated. The vet tech hung up and told me Dr. Cruz wanted me to take her to the hospital in Greenville. The vet tech said the doctor thought she might have something lodged in her intestines. I took her immediately to the hospital. She did not have a blockage but was severely dehydrated with a now VERY severe case of pancreatitis. We were told she was in extreme pain and her pancreas was so large and"angry" , and it was pressing against her other organs, which sickened me. I realized then that all the heavy panting she had done during the night had most likely been pain. Despite aggressive treatment and their best efforts Maggie continued to decline and we were told her chances of her surviving were not expected and we should come see her at that time. Maggie passed away in my arms. The next morning I contacted and spoke to two different veterinarians in the Greenville area who both said their plan of treatment would have been a minimum of 24-48 hours of "in house" stay to give IV fluids, medication, and monitor her levels. I was so angry and hurt as to why WSAC and Dr. Cruz sent her home with something that should be monitored closely due to it being potentially fatal. Dr. Cruz never came in so we asked to speak to the office manager who also never came in. We finally left with a promise of a call. We wanted to point out that we felt their lack of appropriate care had cost Maggie her life and also request that the $1074 we paid them be refunded to help cover the hospital fees. Nikki, the office manager, did call me back to let me know that the reason she was sent home is because they DO NOT even offer in house overnight stays at all and told me that the responsibility was on my shoulder, not their's. She said I should have seen her declining and took her to hospital. How was I to know she was declining?? She was acting no different than she was when they told me to take her home and I left their office. Everyone in that office seen how she looked and NO ONE told me how severe or life threatening it could potentially be or what to watch for. I am just heartbroken and I HATE that I trusted WSAC. RIP my sweet Maggie.

Honestly the worst front office staff I have ever dealt with in regards to any sort of business…read more Front office staff has lied to me multiple times. The front desk receptionist told me something was required by law, however when I pressed her about the lie, she then resorted to telling me it was their policy not a law. Front office staff also tried to convince me to get my dog, who was a puppy at the time, to get his baby teeth cleaned when he had no permanent teeth in. Along with that, I was one time billed for a visit without a dog ever going to the vet. Additionally, my dog has double dew claws due to their breed, and one time he had been biting it so it was irritated, and the vets suggestion was to look at getting the dew claw amputated. I sprayed a topical ointment on it not from the vet and it went away within a week and has never returned. 90% of my issues are with the front office staff which is TERRIBLE. I would recommend this vet to anyone that enjoys getting frustrated with every interaction.

My father took him in for me the other day and asked if we had refills available for his Apoquel prescription. He didn't realize they sold him a month's supply at nearly TWICE the price we pay at Publix. When I called them they refused to do anything about it. I understand they can't take it back, but they wouldn't price match. After all the money we've spent there, I felt taken advantage of and let down. I am currently looking for a new vet.
