As a prior contractor there, the RRJ staff acts like a simple minded radical group. The lowest IQ and lowest rating on the morality scale seem to survive here. There are a few diamonds at the facility, but few and far between. RRJ is extremely hateful towards young, educated professionals.
If you're attractive it does not help because it is a sexist environment. It's male dominated and the culture is that the men feel entitled to the attention of all women they are attracted to. Some people's focus is actually on their job. Then women think it's about competing with other women based on looks, since many are attention seeking. The sworn staff act like children in high school, which is a sheer reflection of their educational attainment. I guess it would be illogical of me to think that the staff should be functioning on a higher level. The men are constantly projecting their sexual frustration into women, getting mad if you do not speak to them, gossiping about you if you don't give them attention that they want or just being straight rude because they think women are objects without thoughts and feelings of their own.
During my duration, I had RRJ staff bully me, talk about me out of character because I do my job and mind my business. I've had sworn staff threatened to fight me for no reason. They admit it and claim they were joking, they weren't. I'm a licensed therapist and my perception of events were always questioned and never was I the aggressor. Other male staff talked about my body parts and another officer, whom I'm putting on blast, Ofc. Kindred has chronically sexually harassed and emotionally abused me EVERYDAY for 16 months. He has fought inmates, the jail covered it up. He received a DUI, a fireable offense, it was covered up. He regularly curses and berates staff and it's covered up. Other women, in particulate have openly discussed being sexually harassed by this officer and has been observed by many veteran staff, but nothing is done? The majority black staff, there mind still operates like plantation slaves. They are scared to address white people, even if they are lower ranking.
During my duration, Ofc. Kindred has stalked me in my work space, watches me from far away, sexually looks at me up and down every time I go by (I would always have to cover up), has spoke about all of my body parts, openly and repeatedly begs for sex at work and with other female staff. He has openly told me, "I like playing mind games with you." He has randomly told me that he hates me walking by. I never did anything to him. He has told me to get away from him, just walking by because his genitalia is getting hard. He open mentioned that he hates women and has mental problems, yet is still working? Ofc. Kindred even told me, "I like playing mind games with you." So, I can be sexually harassed, repeatedly emotionally abuse and nothing? That would be considered a hostile environment and mentally ill staff like Ofc. Kindred should not be working in this environment. RRJ should psychologically screen their staff because I bet what little staff they do have, more than half would be fired. Additionally, I reported this officer twice on two separate occasions, but my security clearance is revoked when I'm a model employee and this person is known to be problematic and have behavioral issues. I want to talk about what's going on. I guess you cannot even exercise freedom of speech. All of the major players covered up for him. Major Flippin even said they're not moving him, yet moved me from my office and banned me from an entire housing unit.
There are a few gems, but the environment caters and fosters degenerate behavior. If you are astute, confident and stable minded you will have problems. The staff will make all attempts to try to make you emotionally unstable like them. Additionally, there is a sexist undertones and bias towards others whom aren't in cliques. I know women who have been fired for minor things that the male sworn staff do, but they keep the males.
I report systematic sexual harassment with OPR and LT. Jones whole should not be the head of the department! She is emotionally unstable, simple minded and is hateful towards women. She revokes my clearance because I am upset I am being retaliated against, because "I spoke." Yet OPR knows their staff commits crimes and beats up inmates but are employed? RRJ has staff that is not equipped to do the jobs they are getting paid for. All they did is make excuses for Ofc. Kindred's degenerate behavior. I told them he is a sexual predator and is still there? The only thing I can think of his that his friend at the jail is related to a major and bailed him out of jail when he got his DUI. The good ole boys in the south lives and they protect their own.
