Prices are steep on much of the grocery items, as is par for the course at these convenience style markets. While cosiderably smaller than Lakeshore Market, they do have a wire selection of a couple very specific grocery items including birthday cakes in frosting. The lighting is extremely dim and the decor outdated, so it feels kind of old and dark. The craft beer selection Was decent and did include a nice variety of beers from Indiana's Three Floyds, which just recently owned distribution up into Michigan. I've seen Zombie Dust and Gumballhead quite a few other places come up but it was nice to also see Robert the Bruce (Scottish ale) and and Alpha King. They also had King Sue and a few other options from Toppling Golliath. But I'm airways hesitant to purchase IPAs from places that I don't seem to get a lot of foot traffic since you really want those to be as fresh as possible.

Bell's Oberon Ale, 4 pint can pack...perfect for a cooler. 2nd little family owned store I visited in the span of 5 minutes. If everyone is this friendly around here, I just might want to move.

I am from the Chicago area and I thought prices were a little expensive so I probably wouldn't shop here for a party (despite the name) but it is a cool little place for personal consumption. There are always a ton of Michigan beers, ciders, meads, wines, and even some much saught after spirts too. Almost all of the beers are sold as singles so if you are looking to try everything, much like I do, you will not be disappointed. Also, of you are into 40 oz. beers expect a wide variety that you don't see in very may other states and counties. Grab Mickey's Ice or Olde English Black Label for old times. If you are looking to splurge they do have two huge walls lined with Cognacs, tequilas, rums, Scotches, and Bourbons that can set you back $40 to $400 a bottle. Too bad the new owner got rid of the "Wall-O-Shame," where local thieves and people with fame IDs had their pictures up with funny commentary.

My go-to is the hawks smash! Got the Glen's Hawaiian Burger with a gluten free bun. The jalapenos, grilled pineapple, tomato, lettuce, onion ring, bacon all complimented together very well, and never felt dry once when I was eating. All of the ingredients alone taste great. Flavors are there! Chefs put the onion rings separate from the burger since I ordered a gluten free bun. Much appreciated! I spent less than $20 on a burger, side, gluten free bun and a small milkshake(whipcream and cherry optional)
