The app was easy to register and use on the washer but they don't use it for dryers. I though I was stuck losing $15 in credit. Not to worry - I sent an email inside the app requesting a refund and it was processed within a day or two. The laundromat is clean and tidy. There is free wifi and there are places to sit while you watch your clothes go round and round. They do sell detergent but I had stopped at the Dollar Tree up the street for a big bottle. So i have used this laundry for years to do lake house laundry there. With last owner i had a few…read moretimes things didn't work but was always cleaned daily. May be messy by nights ends but typically was cleaned. If things didn't work were resolved. I have given new owners the benefit of doubt but today i wasted 10$ on dryers that didn't heat. Was not busy in there but was filthy. over 50% of machines out of service and then 50% of the dryers that ran wouldn't heat up. I left with wet laundry after wasting my time and money. I would like to say sorry to pass owners and his staff. This place is 100 x worse; i listened to so many people complain for years about things that were often out of their control. I bet the community wishes the old staff and owner was there still. This owner takes no pride in this place or even attempts to take pride. I get people are messy and disrespectful but it is your job as an owner to check on your business daily and clean. Considering u are right next door that just makes u lazy. Last owner and his staff were miles away and had other jobs but that did what they could for the community to have a place they could do their laundry.

Plenty of signs all over to ensure people know there are 24hr surveillance cameras (and rightfully so because this helps minimize issues). Those that want to pay with cash, can do so using coins or get change from 2 change machines located in sitting area. As mentioned before as well, there is an ATM machine here (didn't use it, assume it's in working order as there's no sign stating otherwise). Machines are very well maintained, again with notes posted to ensure customers are not overloading or putting too much detergent in them. I made a trip to Malone today from Lake Placid to pick up a few things. I googled laundromats in Malone and three popped up, but one was closed and the reviews for East End Laundry were pretty good so I chose to do it here. What an amazing experience, the place was immaculate. The machines were beautiful and worked really well getting my comforters, nice and clean and dried quickly. I had never seen dryers that rotated clockwise for a couple minutes and then reversed counterclockwise to keep your laundry from just turning into a ball. The whole ambience of the laundromat was a great experience...the comfy chairs, the blue stools next to the folding tables,the clean bathrooms, the TVs. I even noticed how beautiful the floors were. I was a professional figure skater and was on tour for 10 years on the road throughout North America and had to do my laundry while on the road in laundromats. East End Laundry is the nicest laundromat I've ever been in. Lake Placid should take notes... I made the mistake of going to that laundromat once and I won't go back.
