This pub was actually pretty awesome, but then again that probably had quite a lot to do with it being the pub that happens to be on the main road that heads back into Adelaide. I've driven past this pub more times than I can count, so it was a pleasure to actually stop for a change and have a drink. Yeah, this pub was pretty cool, and the staff were quite friendly as well. Oh, and the beer garden, yeah, that was pretty good, and I certainly shouldn't forget the views over the river in the bistro. A delightful place to have a meal. read more

Can't beat the price. Yes, that's the most glowing praise I can give. It's low frills, of course, given the price, but you get what you pay for, and I can't complain about the quality. There are two cons to staying here. The first is the highway noise - thin walls, or just too close to the road? I slept decently well considering. The other con was the lack of lighting inside. I had to turn on the light over the sink after dark, as there was no overall room light. There's inexpensive, and there's cheap! But I do recommend this place to the traveler on a limited budget. read more
