I've unfortunately had to take my little buddy here three times now and each time he has been taken care of and treated well. I came in sobbing once convinced my pet was dying and everyone was so calming and reassuring. Only thing negative thing I will say is it is really expensive. Between the three visits I spent over $350 on what could have been closer to $75 at a regular vet or the low-price veterinary clinic timber-trails. But unfortunately I haven't had the luxury of being able to go there as they've been closed for a month and have a month to go! That being said, can you really put a price on the value of knowing your pet is going to be okay and is getting the treatment they need? All in all, they're fast, prompt, patient, detailed, and always there if you have questions. This place has calmed my nerves so many times and I appreciate them so much. Ps: indoor cats can get tapeworms apparently! And its appalling and disgusting and not a good time so treat your indoor cat for fleas. :)

Over this past week, I've brought my guinea pig in 3 times for urinary tract issues and GI issues, it wasn't improving like any of us hoped. I had to let my fur baby go to rest and the staff was so supportive of my decisions. Dr. Thomas and the rest of the staff treat small animals like any other pet/family member and that is what has made this process of mourning a lot easier. If my rabbit ever needs to get looked at, I'm coming here. I'm even considering switching my dog and cat to them. Thank you so much for your time and assistance. Heartbreaking and unnecessary experience, beyond what could be excused as an isolated incident due…read moreto having taken other animals we have here. Took our kitten here a few years ago. Multiple trips to figure out why she was not eating and getting very sick very fast. After some research I insisted that she may have FIP and needed to be checked on for that. They insisted it was just a mild sickness, just gave her a basic antibiotic and suggested my conclusion was incorrect. Nothing worked after multiple trips, she was in pain and dying. I took her to Ceglinski and without saying anything about any FIP, they immediately came to that conclusion in an FIP specific checkup due to the alarming symptoms and severe decline in health. The disease is well known but no studies have been conclusive on a cure. We ultimately had to put her to rest due to her condition being an incurable mutation of an otherwise common viral disease. Had the first clinic taken proper steps or really even cared we could have laid her to rest earlier instead of letting her wither further into a skeletal, miserable kitten and paying for unnecessary medicine that even during some of the checkups were obviously non effective. We have never gone back but we will never forget this awful experience. I suggest going to a better, more updated veterinary facility in Paducah.

They absolutely did all they could and were so companionate when we had to let him go. I thank them for all they did through those tuff times. I've talked with them at all hours of the day and night and even had Dr Rogers see my animals at his house when there was no time to get them to the clinic.Very reasonable prices, which is something very hard to find. I'm a nurse and recognize a good diagnostician when I see it. They don't waste your time and money trying things they don't think will help just to run up a bill. They even did heart surgery in their office and gave a dog of mine with a death sentence over it's head every expectation of a long normal life! They also take the time to reassure your pet so going to the vet isn't stressful to them. It's just a shame I can't give them more than 5 stars.

Compared to other vets, I feel his pricing is quite reasonable, especially given his quality of care. When I was living in Southern Illinois and doing rescue, he even helped me find good homes for many of the cats and dogs I brought to him for spay and neuter and he always responded quickly to emergencies. The few sad times that my husband and I had to have a cat put to sleep, Dr. Woodcock gave us time to say goodbye and made the transition as gentle as possible for our fur babies. I only wish I could find a vet like him now that I live in Los Angeles.
