The views are incredible, especially from the higher of the 19 floors, and particularly to the west overlooking the Western University campus, University Hospital, the Thames River, and all of west London!! And great long walking trails just behind!! The apartments are new-looking and clean. Great huge gym, fabulous 19th floor patio, free theatre, sauna, whirlpool, large hi-tech laundry, arcade. All the staff, mostly students, are extremely helpful, efficient, knowledgeable, and FUN! Best apartment I've ever seen and lived in. I'm begging to sublet next summer!!

Instead of renting, we decided to buy a Condo and hopefully develop and asset to sell once he graduated. We met Tim Bolton, Sales Representative for Condo Culture, and he coordinated a number of viewing for us to look at and possibly purchase. We spoke a few time prior to the visit to Kitchener so he could develop and understanding of what we were looking for ie. location, size and pricing. From the moment we met Tim, he was professional, friendly and knowledgable about the total Condo scene in Kitchener and the surrounding area. Our focus was on Kitchener. We didn't have much time and didn't want to make multiple visits to Kitchener to find something. Well, he didn't waste our time looking at Condos that didn't fit our profile. He targeted our needs and we made an offer to purchase a Condo right across the street from the School of Pharmacy. Wow, he nailed it. The Condo Culture vibe came through from his team members. They put the paper work together and within a short time we had purchased a Condo. Forward four (4) years and I again contacted Tim to sell the condo. Our son had graduated and the only group that I trusted to sell it, was Tim's team. They didn't disappoint. Not only did he sell us a great condo with a fantastic location, they sold it the first day it was on the market. Wow, a tribute to there organization, professionalism and there "get it done attitude". The attention to detail and complete prep of documents made the whole process a great success. Compred to the other student homes here, this is definitely one of the nicest! It is literally a 60…read moresecond walk onto campus (East Campus Hall). The building has many amenities including a fitness centre, study rooms, ping pong, party room, etc. The building has a few different restaurants on the commercial floor which can be accessed from outside of the building. The building management is by no means amazing but are, for the most part, better than the other managements around the city. It is nice that the office is right inside the building when you need them. I will say they are very evasive about promises that they've made, even ones that are written on paper. They will keep blowing these off untill your lease ends. The other con is that this building is very expensive to rent. The rent can be well over $800 per month depending on your circumstances, and signing bonuses do not happen here given its popularity. And just an FYI, the building demographics is similar to MC or DC, just saying. Tenants here tend to be spoiled and not understand that you must toss your garbage down the shoot, no one will do it for you. If you don't own a BMW, Benz or Porsche then your car will look like garbage in the Blair House lots (cry, that's me driving an old rusted beater). Overall, one of the best buildings in Waterloo especially for UW students. Lots of complaints but these would likely be the same complaints had you been living at any other building.
