This was such a surprise on my riverside walk! The sculpture garden is beautiful, with a plethora of statues to take a look at. I continued walking and came upon a treehouse walkway so I followed it, and it took me to a children's climbing playground. I absolutely love it. I don't have children and I had so much fun. The tunnels are softened on the ground, plenty of spider webs, a slide, money gym, and rock climbing faces, both artificial and authentic rock scrambling. I fly all over the US and I have not seen a public area like this. Absolutely something that children need to put the screen down and play. Definitely worth the walk over!

Great stop for a picnic! Plenty of shaded tables, walking trail, pedestrian bridge, and climbing places for the kiddos! A bathroom would've been great (unless I missed it). There was also a lot of trash around the playground. Cool park tho!

Nice park along the Arkansas River in downtown Little Rock. A great place to walk early in the morning when the park is so peaceful and tranquil. Love how there are so many facets to this urban park that embraces the beauty of nature. Several bridges span the Arkansas. Nice to be able to walk across the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge for a beautiful panoramic river view. The Junction Bridge is a great place for a photo op. The Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden showcases artwork along the walkways. Interesting to also read about the history of both Native Americans and explorers in the history pavilion. The Medical Mile encourages visitors to make healthy choices and exercise. Perfect way to start the day exploring downtown Little Rock.

The weather was great so the hubs and I decided to take a "walk in the park!" Riverfront's got it all! Predestination bridge (with love locks)?- CHECK! Street art and sculptures for fab photo ops?- CHECK! Access to River Market right across the street for food and drinks, and bar crawling if you so choose?- CHECKMATE! All in all, great spot to soak up some fresh air and good vibes in the city!

Stumbled upon this little park to walk my dog. So pretty! Lots of flowers and architectural sculptures. There are 3 bridges you can walk over. There are multiple covered picnic areas. Right along the water. Very pretty and peaceful.

Brought grandchild here today for first time and he had fun with other children. Only expense was $5 for parking. The children screened and generally had a good time. They do need to have a good wash down with a fire hose. They also need more benches for sitters.

This is definitely one of my favorites

This was our Saturday date for lunch. Very few people, and the scenery was AMAZING! Great for a mid day walk and amazing sculpture.

Awww yeah! First to review! I love parks, and this one really is beautiful. It's on the north shore of the Arkansas River, right in North Little Rock across from Downtown, but there are walking trails that go across the pedestrian bridge and cover both sides. On a nice day, there is just no better place to go! The main park also has a lot of sculptures and some playgrounds/slides for kids, the south shore has a lot more historical displays all about Little Rock and Arkansas, and it's right on the River Market. Grab a date, get some ice cream, and just walk around for an afternoon :D

This is a lovely park with beautiful views , and just a few ft. from the Junction pedestrian bridge and Arkansas river. It's located behind the River Market shopping district. I noticed when walking about a nice waterfall area and splash pad. I was fascinated with all of the beautiful views and historical information this park has to offer. I enjoyed viewing all of the sculptures and murals. My favorite discoveries were all of the Native American Indian statues and information given on the Quapaw tribe. This park is walking distance to so many Little Rock sights. Definitely visit Riverfront park when you're visiting Little Rock!

Best slide and great play ground for the kids.

What a great park, it is in the city but does not smell like it is. The park has some really cool tunnels that connect up to vertical shafts with different types of climbing inside for kids. Also there is the longest kids slide I have ever gone down. A great place to take the kids.

A great place to hang out in the sunshine. We decided to go down for a walk to see the city. Plenty of cool statues to see. LOTS of city history through murals. A great park for kids with lots of unique climbing activities.

The last time I came the bridge wasn't lite up so I enjoyed the beautiful walking bridge being lite up. Cute little park.

Great walking trail. I'm a photographer and I love the view down here. I visited a while back and the walking bridge wasn't lite up then, but it is now. I love it. Wonderful place to hang with friends and catch up and I love the location with downtown right there. I would love it to some places around the river market.

This was a bit smaller compared to the other one. In fact it didn't interest my big kids all that much. There wasn't a "can we go back to the other park?" It was, "we're going back to the other one. Bye, Mom." Lol. Just a reminder parents, please teach your kids to pick up their trash right before you leave. It's good for them and helps us all enjoy the park much more. Plus the Arkansas River is just a few yards away.

It is named after Margaret Clark in appreciation of her longtime commitment to children and her interest in Riverfront Park. Her husband William E. Clark, has a wetlands park, down the street from this one by the Clinton Library, that is dedicated to him as well. It is very nice and welcoming. You know you have found the park when you see the twin sheep sculptures, Bliss and Glee, which are the work of Giuseppe Palumb. The park also has a hippopotamus sculpture named Roundbottom, that serves double duty as a bench. It is the work of Tim Cherry. The park opened in 2018 and still looks relatively new. It was designed for children ages 2-5 and is on artificial grass and mud free rubber surface. The park appears to have a nature theme and has a bank of traditional/toddler swings, rocks to climb, percussion instruments, bridges, slides, stand and spin, and a spinning cone climber. The slides are small and there is not much there as far as equipment goes, so I do not see the park entertaining kids much older than 5. It is a nice park though and well maintained. I have no issue with them catering to pre-school kids because sometimes the littles get over run over and pushed to the side by the big kids at other parks. This is not a destination park, but it is nice spot to visit if you are in the area with little kids and some time to kill.

Admittedly we were all bummed the splash pad in this particular area was still inoperable (according the Tank G.'s 6.20.2023 review). However, walk a bit further to the east and there is another one. The inclusion of the splash pad in this flatter area was quite the boffo decision on city official's part as the July 2025 heat proved to be highly intense. I didn't allow my dog to run through it as there were many other kids including my daughters enjoying the splashes of cold water, but she acted like she wanted to. She's normally little Miss "Oh No the neighbor's sprinklers are going to spray me." Lol. I didn't take photos of this park because there were so many kids there. The humidity mixed with the Arkansas heat was a bit more bearable with the trees and shade structures nearby. I appreciate the tube slides (since they're enclosed) so the kids don't burn their bums sliding down... Lol. And thank goodness I had our dog with me because otherwise I might have needed rescuing much like this recent News Nation headline: "Connecticut man, 43, rescued after 'wedged' in playground slide." Knocked off a star due to many areas such as the playground surface being worn out and being quite the salient eyesores.

The park features an awesome splash pad, large outdoor and underground tunnels, a spider pyramid, giant rocks for climbing, a bridge and a slide. A large portion of the play area's ground (lower level) is lined with the mud free rubber surface. It has a kind of unique setup where it is kind of like two levels. An upper level and a lower level, with the two being separated by a steep incline. One cool part about this is that you can take the slide from the upper to lower level. On a side note, the splash pad was not operating while I was there, but it was just the beginning of Summer, so I cannot really speak much about it. It does look nice though You will also find a pavilion, Ozark Pavilion, that is elevated and overlooks the splash pad and play area, n the area that allows parents to sit and relax, while supervising their littles. The park is very well maintained and still looks relatively new. There is metered street parking within a reasonable walking distance to/from the park and the meters run from 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday. This is a very nice park to visit and spend some time at. It is spacious and picturesque. I highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance.

I spent a few hours hiking on one of the more difficult hiking trails and it was a great experience! The trail was clean and well labeled, but the only difficult part was locating the same trail markers going down the mountain, especially since there are so many rocks and boulders throughout the entire terrain so it was very easy to miss several trail markers on the way down. I love that the state park offers a variety of trails and difficulty levels, so whether you are a beginner hiker or a more experienced hiker, you are bound to have a good time. You do need some moderate physical fitness - a good portion of the "trail" was just spray-painted yellow marks on large rocks and boulders you have to climb. But we did it all in under 2 hours? Great views from the top, and there is a wonderful playground in the middle of the parking lot too! What a unique and fun experience. Honorable mention: we saw a raccoon in a Christmas sweater.
