This is an excellent hospital. My wife and I so prefer this hospital. The nurses are superb, the…read moredoctors seem to really care, and are very good at what they do. Unfortunately, we have had to spend quite a bit of time in different hospitals of late. This is the closest emergency room to us, and it is by far our favorite (as unpleasant as the need to go may be). For one thing, the fact that Catholic hospitals do not murder babies is super awesome all by itself. But beyond that you can very much tell that the nurses all care and that they are dedicated to quality care. They care about the patients that are unborn and the patients who are born. They even care deeply for the elderly, who I feel are neglected altogether too often, for which there is frankly, no excuse. Elderly people should be cared for, and I'm grateful to this hospital. Not sure why they have such a low rating of yet, maybe some changes have been made, because they are definitely doing good these days.

Absolutely unacceptable. We have been waiting for over three hours in the emergency department…read morewhile my daughter is in significant pain, and no one can even tell us how much longer the wait will be. We understand that emergency rooms must prioritize the sickest patients, but patients and their families deserve communication, compassion, and updates. Being left to sit for hours with a loved one in pain, without any clear information or timeline, is frustrating and exhausting. A simple update or explanation would go a long way. Instead, we feel forgotten. No family should have to watch their child suffer while wondering if anyone is aware of how much pain they're in. I hope this hospital takes a serious look at its emergency department's communication and patient care because this experience has been deeply disappointing.

It was an overwhelming time of change. I'm especially directing this review towards the hospice team that came into my patents's home to provide hands on care. We were very fortunate to have Alyssa, Trey, and La Sarita help us out. They were excellent communicators and very caring and competent. They exhibited great teamwork. They addressed our questions without making us feel like we were wasting their time. An additional note. After my Dad passed, just 13 days after entering hospice, my Mom did not want to sleep in her bedroom alone. Gracious Care Hospice made arrangements so we could keep my Dad's rented hospital bed so I could sleep next to her and hold her hand as she grieved the loss of her husband of 68 years. That act was outside of the hospice routine, but was a key to helping my Mom pass peacefully, 17 days later. Thank you, Gracious Care Hospice.
