I told them over the phone before the appointment that he needed to be sedated as he doesn't like other people around me. They said that was fine so I brought him in. I was quoted $600 for them to sedate him, clean his wounds, place 2 drains, pain meds and antibiotics to take home. I came to pick him up. NO drains, no pain meds, no antibiotics. They didn't even drain the almost cantaloupe sized pocket of fluid that built up on his neck that drew us to make the appointment in the first place. They sedated him and cleaned the wounds only. Went to pay and my bill was $723. I asked them how my bill was so high when they just sedated and cleaned him. I asked Mrs Kaufman why it was so high without drains and meds. SHE shrugged at me and said there was nothing she could do about it. I paid it and left. I will never go back there and will always comment what they did to us. Also 8 years ago they hired me to work for them. I worked full time for 2 weeks. Went to pick up my paycheck and was told I was on a work interview and wouldn't be getting paid. And no they never disclosed that in the interview or when they called to tell me I had been offered the position.

When they became ill or needed well checks-she spent every last dime she had on them. She'd go without food to pay her bills. Never once, did anyone ever offer her a discount for her 6 cats or let her catch a break by setting up a payment plan. Then when two of her cats became ill and eventually died.. they offered euthanasia instead of comfort. They washed their hands of my mother after she chose to keep her cat and nurse him to health. They were very rude and judgmental and called her a terrible pet owner! After her years of dedication and love to her cats. The prices -and her bills were astronomical. Dr.Bratton down the road would never treat someone so harshly and would just be happy she was caring for her animals, as many do not.

All good I understand and would've waited forever for my baby. Then a nurse came out pet the foster dog who had a cut on her lip and didn't touch my dog who had a puncture wound near her neck. Instead I offered her a picture when I realized she wasn't even going to check my dog at all. She said it didn't look that serious and we can either wait 5-6 hours or go to Bentonville animal urgent care. We got in the car and began driving. On the way the org my foster was through called me and said they couldn't cover the price of urgent care. Once again I understand but my dog has still not even been actually looked at and no one seems to want to help me. At this point I just need to know if she's going to be okay. I asked the org if there was anything else to do. They said they'd get back to me. Then when we stopped so I could reach out to some of my personal connections I received a text from the org. "Springdale emergency clinic said they evaluated your dog and "the cut" was not very deep so they think she will be okay." EVALUATED???? WHEN? I was with my baby the entire time there was no "evaluation" she didn't even see the "cut" other than a blurry picture I had to offer her. Anyways my connection helps me clean her up as best she could so I can take her in to get STITCHES for her PUNCTURE WOUND tomorrow. This place is lazy. I understand they are exhausted and have other patients to see but sending a nurse out who doesn't even touch the dog. THATS ABSURD. They should've just let me wait to get back there I would've done that happily. This place is a joke. Needs more caring and loving staff.

George was in a lot of pain so I took him to StatVet on 15th Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were compassionate, professional, skilled and thorough. From that first visit until February 21, 2026, I probably took George Duncan to that StatVet at least 30 times. Pancreatitis in cats is a chronic and difficult disease and although we all tried to beat it, I finally had to give George Duncan some peace. I returned to StatVet where we all shared tears, hugs and goodbyes but there was no place better for George Duncan's journey to end. They are all amazing and wonderful and I can't thank them enough. When you need them, they will be there - for the good news and the bad news and everything in between
