Usually a company like this has a lot of employees apparently not 4 quit prior to taking the task of cleaning and removing debris. They hired temporary help. They disregarded my directions on identifying items for insurance for loss. One employee was told not to enter the main house because it was armed he entered anyways sounding the Alarm for breaking and entering. We had a lot of valuables inside the garage that had smoke, water damage and insulation stuck to items. There cleaning methods sucked. The put items in a bag to be cleaned that got moldy and sat 3 months before they cleaned and destroyed a few irreplaceable jackets. The took pictures but no value added to the item. At one point the owner of ServiceMaster told his employee on the phone for me to take a chill pill. At one point the manager decided it was to much items to inventory so he said you can donate and get credit for certain items. He threw the items away. Some valuable items the worker said they were not easy to clean and they claimed them for themselves. I asked for the items to be place along my inside wall to be inventory 3 times they just started Throwing things away they could care less. My inventory list is tainted from other peoples homes inventory combined with mine. I treated them well fed them gave them liquids to hydrate and still wouldn't listen to my instructions. They got a storage unit that I never used but I had to pay for it. 3 months after they finished and hounding them were certain items were 9 unmarked boxes came back. There is no value hiring this company they don't care about your loss they seek what they can get for nothing and say total loss then sell it themselves.
