They were nice enough to have a nurse conduct the consultation. I never once spoke with a surgeon. After reviewing my MRIs, I got a call from the receptionist saying that I needed an epidural, which will not correct the problem. It will just put a Band-Aid on it. I know surgeons are busy and don't have time to make phone calls, but when you make the time to show up, it's comforting to consult with the person that was trained to solve the problem. not a nurse. I suggested that the epidural seems to be a method of fee generation rather than solving the problem, and boy did that bite- the attitude immediately changed from the nurse. I don't think it's too much to ask for a surgeon to look at the MRIs and give you his professional opinion, face-to-face, and allow you to answer questions which I was never able to do. It seems Eisenhower- once one of the diamonds in our community has degenerated to a private equity Hell scape. On top of all this when the receptionist called me, she told me that this epidural that " is not a cash grab" has to have a pre-procedure consultation 35 days from now. Patient care is clearly not a priority. I will go somewhere else.

Your organization is government funded, so from the taxes the government is deducting from his and our income, we support your vision but yet you charged him $300 dollars for a simple test. Claudia, it was surprising to hear that it didn't seem high to you for someone who makes 3,000/month, pays rent and supports him and his girlfriend who is still in school. You easily took his money and it became clear to me talking to you on the phone why you took it - you don't care! You said, well he signed the estimate and agreed to it. A similar experience happened a couple of years ago when I wanted to use a previous diet program they promoted and the person refused to return my calls. Other than these 2 instances I like them but beware; I believe if they can't resolve your issue I believe they are trained to just blow you off. I went for a series of sessions following lumbar fusion surgery because a significant body of research shows pre-operative HBOT therapy can very significantly reduce post-operative complications (Hyperbaric Oxygen Preconditioning Can Reduce Postabdominoplasty Complications: A Retrospective Cohort Study (Friedman, T., et al., 2019), especially those horrible bone infections that aren't noticed for weeks to months after surgery, and to speed up healing (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Orthopaedics: An Adjunct Therapy with an Emerging Role (Jeyaraman, M., et al., 2023). I was very impressed with Dan and Cherise for their professionalism and 100% attention to the entire process. Their attention to detail and professionalism meant even more to me considering HBOT therapy means being kept in a small container where, if you're claustrophobic, it can be stressful. To help with this, Dan always had a ready supply of television shows to watch during the process and in fact, he and I spent many a session watching TV together taking turns sharing movies we liked! Did I mention Dan's impeccable credentials for running a HBOT practice, for attention to detail is vital when it comes to managing high pressure oxygen systems? Yes, Dan was trained under a Navy legend, the famous Master Chief Billy Sunday (played by Robert De Niro in the movie Men of Honor (https://g.co/kgs/6PpaZve). I was out of town, away from my regular pharmacy, but needed to refill my chemotherapy medication, something that can occasionally be delayed in delivery. The staff went out of their way to find it for me, apologizing in advance for a 30-minute wait, then actually calling me back to the counter in less than 15 minutes. I am grateful for their service, but more so for their reassuring manner. I have another refill coming due soon and I will have complete confidence in returning to this pharmacy if I need to.
