Petco has a better selection, but the problem is their employees don't know how to properly take care of their tanks. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there to buy a plant or fish, or whatever... I end up with a new and exciting parasite, bacterial bloom or worm infestation. Every time. Last time, every last one of their freshwater tanks had a runaway cyanobacteria (blue/green algae) bloom. I told them what they needed to do in order to fix it, (erythromycin) but they looked at me like I had three heads and blamed the sunlight from a nearby window. No, dude... no. The separate plant tank they have had invasive snails hidden in the cups, and this last visit... I gave it one last shot and ended up with detritus worms like crazy. I will not go back there this year. Maybe I'll try next year and see if they improve.

He ended up chipping his nail so he needed them cut ASAP! I went into Cheryl's today to have his nails cut.I came in as a walk-in and was warmly greeted by employees. I explained my pup needed his nails cut and shared with them that I've had bad experiences at petsmart. They took him over to the table and trimmed his nails and checked his ears. They said petsmart also failed to clean/pluck his ears! So I asked them to go ahead and do so. I had a great experience, they seem to really care about the health and well-being of their furry customers. They also give ur pup a little treat bag at the end of their visit. They only charged me 10$! I will definitely be bringing my pup from now on!

All I received was fantastic customer service and a lot of information. They even told me not to buy food from them since a chain store had it for cheaper; we opted to buy it from them regardless of the price difference because of their humility and fantastic customer service. We ended up purchasing a Netherlands Dwarf Bunny and took him to the vet to ensure everything was ok, and the vet said the bunny was in perfect condition and healthy. We could not be happier to be able to find what we were looking for. Thank you, Aqua-Rama staff. You guys rock!

Their selection of fish is something PSmart, or PSupermarket has never had. The tanks are not spit shined the cleanest but the fish are happy and none were seen floating stuck to the filters as you see in the other stores. The merchandise stock and brand selection doesn't seem to be large but they had all the essentials and indicated they could order what you needed if not seen in the store. All in all, I liked what I saw and it seems these guys know their fish and are set up to offer a nice variety not found in our area. They specialize in quality fish more than housekeeping and that is what counts.
