We visited because our over-the-range microwave died on us this past week. As soon as we got it uninstalled, I brought it to this recycling center to free up some space in our home. Although the front lot of this recycling center is fairly small, I was able to get in and out very quickly. I spoke to the forklift operator and he made himself available right away to remove my old microwave. There's no wait and no paperwork needed. Just give it and go. This is actually my 2nd experience with them. The first time was to drop off a smart tv that had died on us. I did the same thing. Give it and go and off I went.

USA Scrap did the legwork of breaking the glass off the windows themselves at their site and still offered market value of $.80 per pound. I had shopped around, and their competitors wouldn't even accept the aluminum frame windows if it still had glass. Two of them did, but they offered me a fraction of what USA Scrap. Since the family took over, the operation has unfortunately become disorganized and the overall experience has gone downhill. Your own employees have also complained to me about how workers here are treated, which is one of the reasons I would personally tip the workers who helped unload and handle my loads when I came in. When I brought in the material, I asked that the wires be separated by type before weighing because they were clearly different materials. That request was ignored, and everything was weighed together as mixed material, which lowers the payout. On top of that, the employees weighing the material mixed up the prices for different grades. I already knew the correct pricing for the materials I brought in, which is why I questioned it in the first place. Instead of a clear explanation, there was confusion and poor communication. I also want to address the disrespectful behavior from the employee shown in the photo. He started with his mouth. when I simply asked questions about the grading and pricing. I get brushed off. That type of conduct is completely inappropriate and frankly disgusting customer service. I simply said, "Let me get my things and I will go to another establishment." I chose to leave your business willingly to avoid further issues. I didn't get asked to leave I said I want my property back and I'm leaving. Lastly, the review was posted again because the original concern was ignored, not because of any false names as you claimed. This situation could have easily been avoided if the materials were separated properly like I asked in the first place so they can be priced correctly, communicated clearly, and handled with basic professionalism.
