Here today! I took visitors to River Pointe Church, very lovey Church. I like to point out as a visitor there was signage throughout to help point a visitor in the right direction. As we get older, we need help to point us in the right direction especially being such a large facility. I noticed the Church had a school and Day Care and the grounds was immaculate, plenty of parking too. If I had to guess it sits on 10 acres. Nice place of worship. read more

I've read all the reviews and wanted to add. I have been a Christian all of my life. I've been lead by Baptist and nondenominational pastors. I've even attended Pentecostal church with my sister many times. The Word of the Lord is my lifeline and know it well, Jesus truly is my best friend and Father. My family and I have been attending here for two years. Pastor Chad's sermons never waiver from the word. he doesn't add or take the hard verses away to appease. He is honest and genuine. He is called. So yeah, like thee reviews say, it is welcoming and everyone is kind, but most importantly, Riverpointe leads us to the truth and life change WITH Christ. read more

I visited this church after an invitation to attend with a friend. I was late due to me trying to find parking, so get there early to arrive to your service on time - huge lot. Otherwise, service was good and there was ease of getting in and out. The feel was happy and welcoming, no matter who you were...as I've been to "stiff" churches. I enjoyed! read more

I love how they welcome you into the church and make you feel comfortable. Even if you don't know the words to the songs they are posted for you so you don't feel left out, Plus all of them can sing very well. The sermon is always uplifting, soul stirring, and able to be followed along in the Bible. The congregation and everyone that works there that I have encountered shows that they are kind and blessed people. read more

Maybe I came at the wrong time? The church service was so packed they were asking people to keep moving in so people could find a place to sit. Yet, they preach a sermon about tidings and explain how broke they are. Their data seemed to support their claim almost every activity big or small requires a fee, including bible study. That said, everyone seems very welcoming. They have many opportunities to serve and they have a great energy. I may try it again sometime because of this alone. read more

Ifit ministry not trust worthy. I have been attending this church since 2021 since i live literly 4 minutes away. I thought RPC would bring a new beginning for me and my family only to experience judgment, rejection and lack of transparency from ifit ministry toward my special need child. In 2022 my children and i attended church more frequently, because we were going through a crisis. My son was diagnosed with autism and started to experience behavioral changes. He was in and out the hospital due to those changes, however toward the end of the year i decided to involve the church for support and prayer i was lead to the head person in ifit who coordinated visits to my son in hospital. I didnt receive the support i thought i would and regret even confiding in Wendy and another member in ifit . I was going through a crisis and used what i told them to deny my son to go back to ifit program. They placed judgment on him and didnt operate in a supportive or loving manner to my son.. Upon his release from the hospital i was told my son couldn't come back to ifit sunday school... Church is to receive not only the lost in salvation, but to those experiencing crisis, and to all children seeking help, guidance and support. Instead my son received judgment, rejection from ifit ministry. I regret ever involving the ifit ministry confiding in them into my family crisis... Please be careful who you talk to in ifit ministry.... there not fit to handle family problems... read more

This was my first time attending worship at this church. It was rodeo Sunday, so I'm not sure if services are always like this. There was no worship. No one in the congregation sang. The only person singing was the country singer on the stage. There was no participation from the audience. It felt like people were just there. Then the pastor got up to speak. I was waiting for him to tell me where to turn in my Bible. He never did. He did have verses on the screen, but he never told people where to turn to. It wouldn't have mattered because I only saw one person with a Bible. His sermon was more motivational in nature. The whole thing felt church lite. read more

My family and I started coming here about 6 months ago and we absolutely fell in love with it! The place is beautiful and open. The people there welcome you with open arms and hearts and Pastor Kelley is amazing. My kids love it and the volunteers they have are amazing people also. I can't tell you enough how this place has really changed our family in such a small amount of time. I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family joining the church. read more

In 25 years, I have never really understood what people meant by a "church family" and feeling like it was home. River Pointe has made my husband and I feel like that since the first day we stepped in the door, even when we were just dating. I never once felt obligated to give, or felt judged, or uncomfortable - even during the more "uncomfortable" topics. Pastor Kelley's heart is truly in the right place. They host great events to get the church involved, and his message always seems meant for me. Their loving and open arms approach has made me WANT to be more active, instead of feeling obligated to be active, like many churches make you feel. RP really wants to show you the love of Christ and the Christian community - they welcome those from all walks of life. We spent an entire year trying many churches in the area, and this was by far our winner with no clear competitor. It's a large church, but not a mega church. It's the perfect size with a big network with lots of opportunities to get plugged in small areas. It's a great place to spend an hour on the weekend. Did I mention the also have Saturday night services? The flexibility is great! read more

this church always offends me. i have been going here for several years with my parents and pastor kelly has made numerous racist and anti-catholic comments. i do not recommend this church. staff is friendly but pastor is not good. read more

Me & my husband started attending about a year ago. We were very impressed by how approachable & available Pastor Kelley is! He is hilarious by the way! Every word he's given has been amazing! His messages are light enough to reach the unsaved yet deep enough for more "experienced" I guess you'd say, Christians! Pastor Kelley was quick to say how his mission is to reach the unsaved & I feel like me & my husband couldn't agree more! The church has so many outreach programs & so many ways to get involved with our community. Even tho the Church is very large they really recommend getting into small groups & we did & its been awesome! A great way to make friends & meet new people! I love the new children's building! Pastor Kelley knows how important our children are & has made that known & I think the children's building shows it! With their decals on so many people's cars in and outside of Houston I'm surprised there isn't a review yet. Great service. Great message. Warm and friendly folks. You don't feel overwhelmed and swarmed like a mega church and their contemporary service showcases some great local talent. This is definitely the church you'll want if you have children with special needs. Their programs for children are amazing and my son is welcomed, participates, and learns about Christ. My only complaint is that the main hall is very crowded and noisy-i often have to sit in the "cry room" to watch the service. That's a trade off i don't mind in order to have my son be welcomed into church and treated like any other child. read more

I recently moved here from PA and found this church a few weeks after being here in Richmond. Pastor Patrick's sermons and methodology are much like that of Pastor Colby back home and as such, makes every Sunday a relate-able experience rather than an hour of obligation to sit in church. We all come to know Christ after an individual journey of hardship and brokenness and it is great to be able to sit among a church family and not feel judged. My only complaint with Patrick's sermons is that they aren't longer than they are!!! read more

When my daughter went to Kempner High School she would at times need to go there or be picked up on weekends & I would see these large trucks there. I found out that it was a church setting up or tearing down. We also got flyers from that church that turned out to be RPC. We decided to go & really enjoyed it. I was most impressed that so many volunteers put so much effort into setting up the church each week. We don't go every week but whenever we do we enjoy it very much. Christmas time at RPC is awesome. The very first Christmas Eve they had at the unfinished church (as in no roof) on the Richmond campus, it snowed. It was magical. Patrick is always entertaining, very easy to listen to & understand. The music is great. read more

Ive visited here at different times of the year. Its always the same. No windows. No cross. No alter. Extreme dark room. 30 minutes of loud music. Announcements. Lecture. No involvement from congregation except to sing along to a song. No holy spirit. Leader trying to be a comic. The person i visited with likes going cause no one talks to him. He says he can get in and out with out talking to anyone. Its a pretty campus. read more
