The owner, Rich, takes the time to get to know his clients. He's friendly, courteous, and able to make suggestions so that you get the perfect t-shirt, hoodie, etc. And if he says it will be done on a certain date, it WILL be done by that date. The printing is done well and wears well even after many washings. There's a great selection of styles and colours. We've had many compliments on our t-shirts, and every time we mention A Brick Shirt House. We wouldn't go anywhere else! Fred & Kate C. F. Casey Guitars

Quick and engaging service makes the Leather Patch a great choice for shoe repair and…read morecleaning/shining. Concerning their shoe repair, I would rate them closer to 4/5 as the glue that they used for my shoes didn't seem to work properly and required additional work (no charge). Their shining/cleaning business was excellent and they were familiar with all types of materials and surfaces. I would trust them with my most expensive items should I visit them more often. Good luck in Winnipeg!

Fast, honest, and reliable! VL Appliance came through when…read moreour washing machine stopped working. The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had the parts ready. Pricing was fair, service was excellent, and communication was clear from start to finish. Highly recommend for any appliance repairs in Winnipeg!

I had already checked the price of the part necessary to fix my dishwasher,…read morewhich was about $75, when I contacted VL appliance through Yelp. VL told me the part would have to be ordered specially (although it is actually available, off the shelf from two local sources) and they quoted nearly $300 more than the actual cost of the part. After this review was sent in, someone from VL contacted me, and sent a link to the part which they were quoting. The price they gave was right for the part, but it was the wrong part (by this point, the correct part has been acquired and installed), and would not work for my dishwasher. So there are three possibilities: 1) It was a simple mistake (if VL double-checked before creating a quote, the problem would have been avoided) 2) VL is incompetent at finding and installing the right part 3) VL was going to install the correct, cheaper part and charge me for the wrong, expensive part Obviously I don't know which of the scenarios is correct, but even the first one, simple human error, unchecked, might disqualify VL from being the repair service of choice. I hope that was indeed the cause of the error, and that VL will do better in the future. Brian Ellis brianellis@mts.net

When I went in they asked me what I was doing to cause it. Nice. Blame me. They then came back and said that's not how they meant it. The issue was that when they installed the blower, they did not align the pulleys. Yes they credited me back for the belts. They also forgot to install some safety pins that keep the winch secure. Now just off warranty and the chute does not move up and down anymore with the electric system. I had lights installed and St. Andrews Power said that since the machine is no longer the same as when delivered, it was on me. Fine. I hired a guy who guy finished fixing it. St. Andrews power when they assembled the machine they put a wire under the chute. Repeated turning of the chute broke the wire. So not my fault. I had to pay 100$ to get it fixed. I had heard good things about these people but I caution you all about their shoddy workmanship. Be careful. They are very nice people but I would never shop there again. If you do, all I can say is be careful and always be checking.
