When arriving to River City Studios. I arrived to a whole new world of creativity. It was like flying through the sky on the back of an eagle. Just like Lord of the rings. I then walked in to a studio A to which I was greeted with a state of the art studio. This studio is like 2000 years ahead of there time. Then the staff, the staff were so helpful and so kind. I've been recording lines for a show here for two years. When I moved back to Grand Rapids I was nervous about how I would be able to continue voicing my character. The company I work for found River City Studios and it's been a great experience. I walk in, they're ready, I do my work, done. They're very friendly and have helped me get more VO work as well. Would recommend for commercials and voice over for sure and they also make jingles from scratch (I have not recorded music here so I can't say anything about that aspect). read more

After reading the last comment about River City Studios, we don't have anything but praise for them !!! We had a great experience with Roy Rockin the H E - - out of the mixer!!!! We have a 5 piece band, went in had 4 hours in the studio and came out with 3 songs hassle free, totally enjoyed our experience, and got exactly what we wanted, and under budget to boot !!!! I recorded a demo here and it is the best studio in Grand Rapids ,Hands down. All the engineers there made my songs sound incredible. I went here with my wife who read for an audio book. She was nervous (why I went along) and ended up not needing me when she went the next day. The staff is laid back and made the experience fun. I recorded several songs on for my EP and this is absolutely the best studio in Grand Rapids. They have the best engineers and so much equipment. They are also really nice and made me feel comfortable when I was singing. It was also very affordable! Great studio overall! read more
