I was hesitant to stay on site because based on the description of the cottages being in a "shared" area and a golf course in MS I thought it might be old and worst than the Hampton Inn. I was glad when we got there. Check in was easy and only one other room in our cottage was being used. Parking was right there and the cottage was updated, clean, and comfortable. I am very glad we chose to stay on site. The common area was large and the rooms were separated enough so noise would not be an issue. Windows looked out on lake.

OK, again, I can live with that. But when we get to the first green and there is no grass on it, I have a problem. I'm from out of state so I didn't know that they had killed the grass by spraying pesticide on the greens improperly. This is almost fraud. To charge us full price for a golf course that has no greens, and not telling us, is just wrong. I will NEVER play here again.

It did start off a little rough as we were not very warmly greeted by the hostess who seemed annoyed we didn't have a reservation. They also didn't take our name but there were only a few groups ahead of us. We eventually were seated by the hostess where a server came over and took drink orders. Coffee is self serve which i enjoyed because I hate asking to have my mug refilled all the time. It was pretty self explanatory from there. There is a fresh omelette bar, specialty waffle station and fresh eggs Benedict made to order.
