My Husband and I were just at 6639 Watt Ave, North Highlands,CA 95660 1. Only one shopping cart ?? 2. Because of no cart available, we both hand delivered two 12 packs each to the counter as normal. 3. A young man would not complete the transaction until he scanned both of our ID's.... And sort of lectured us. 4. We've NEVER been asked to each provide ID. 5. We are 66 and 59 years of age. 6. No minors were with us. 7. The Manager at this location doesn't do this. Why would we be " schooled " by this young man? Please explain this? read more

Rite Aid was the only local pharmacy that had a particular medication I needed. Hadn't noticed this location until now but I was happy they had the medication. When I arrived, the medication amount was different than what my doctor was to call in. The pharmacy tech summoned the pharmacist who was very nice and offered to look into the situation (as opposed to punting the ball back to me and offering no help/solution). Minutes later the pharmacist saw the (external) error which created the issue and told me she would have the RX ready in 10 minutes. Excellent customer service, very friendly, and the pharmacist even told me what to say when it's time to refill, so the (innocent) error doesn't happen again. Cherry on top: the store was having an amazing blow out sale and I got some makeup goodies at a steep discount and love the products. read more

I was disappointed to go to this store, only because it kinda small for its location, and how much room they have to expand it. Even though you have other major stores around it, Rite Aid is a major corporation and should deserve a bigger store. I've been a lot of the other stores, and they all have a lot more then this one. But I did notice they had an ice cream parlor in the store, and for me I'm a big ice cream kinda of guy. I'm not sure if it thrifty ice cream they sell or some other private ice cream. One day when the weather starts to warm up I'll try some. Over all the store is clean and well kept, and all the isle are free from debre ( meaning no toys on the floor or other product I've seen at other stores) they have a nice small garden section that I have always liked. I miss doing gardening, don't have the room at my place to do it. The employees at the location are very nice and, when you walk in they most likely great you with the store greeting. read more

Came in to get ice cream late at night. Gentleman at the cash register said "i don't feel like scooping ice cream right now, how bad do you want it?" I ended up NOT having ice cream. This PHARMACY is the worst! Today my mom went to her SCHEDULED appointment to get her 2nd pneumonia shot and was told they did not have it. She is a senior on limited income and they wasted her time and gas money. I'm reporting this to their corporate office. Riduculous that they don't bother to check to be sure they have the vaccine people schedule an appointment for! None of my family will go there again. read more

The pharmacy couldn't care less about the patients. I set up for delivery the night before. I got a text telling me when my prescription would arrive then I got a call from rite aid that I was unable to answer. When I checked voicemail, it was delivery driver telling me to call. I called back and was told driver already left and I wouldn't be getting my delivery as scheduled and was paid for in advance. Then I call today to ask them if they could have other presentations ready in an hour and a half before I go to work and they said maybe if I came in and waited. read more

Rite Aid is Rite Aid, there's nothing special to this location in particular. It seems every time I come in they're either short staffed or everyone is in hiding, possibly dreading having to be the one to ring up the next customer? I would pass employees stocking in the aisles and not once have they stopped and said hello or asked if I needed help. One time, 2 female employees were chatting in the makeup aisle while one was stocking. They saw I was poking around at the makeup and at one point I was actually standing just staring at the wall of many choices and neither of them stopped to ask if I needed help. Instead, they went around me to continue stocking and chatting at the same time. I guess "the hell with the customer" is their motto?!?! And this location doesn't have ice cream!!!!! The upside, learn how to take advantage of Up+ Rewards!!!! When in combination with coupons, you can really save some biggie bucks!!! read more

One of my favorite stores. Everyone here is always so nice and friendly! Great customer service and store is always nicely stocked.

This store is the best. I pick up my mother's prescriptions here 10 infact and also adult depends usually 5 cases at a time. I don't drive and have to get a ride from a friend. The pharmacist has made arrangements so I can pick up all the prescriptions at the same time. The store manager special orders the depends to keep them instock so I'm able to pick them up when I get the prescriptions. They make everything so convenient. I appreciate that so much. read more

Ive been here 3x in the last 4 days and they repeatedly keep tryna give me the WRONG medication. Ive told the same girl at the counter and the pharmacist multiple times. Again I leave today WITHOUT my medication!! I will nvr get my meds filled here again. read more

Im not sure if they changed management or just employees but they are so bad that im transferring my scripts to a different pharmacy!

I was looking to buy a watch and saw one that I really liked. But it was in a display box that couldn't be opened. I asked the sales clerk if they could please open the box so I could try it on and make sure it fit. I have fairly small wrists and was concerned it might be too big. The sales clerk said no. I saw a manager and kindly asked her. She also said no, I would have to actually purchase the watch before I could try it on. I wanted to avoid purchasing the watch and then having to turn right back around and return it if it didn't fit. I should've gone with my gut and walked out. But I went ahead and purchased the watch. The sales clerk had a really hard time figuring out how to open the box that the watch was in. It took her a few minutes. Immediately after she took the watch out of the box, I tried it on realizing it was in fact too big. I told her I'd like to return it. The sales clerk had trouble with figuring out how to make the return. She had to call her manager over to help her. Once they finally figured out how to do the return, they told me how much they would be giving back to me in cash. I had paid with a debit card and I wanted my return back on the card I used to make the purchase. They said that unfortunately they were unable to put the return back on the card and would have to refund me in cash. I was very gracious with them throughout this whole ordeal. But needless to say, that after about a 20 minute delay, I was pretty unhappy. They were not very accommodating. They could have saved me time, and themselves a big headache, if they would have just let me try on the stinkin watch. This Rite Aid will not be my choice drug store in the future. Their costumer service was horrible and the hassle was not worth it! read more
