Ignoring the fact 3 other people were standing outside waiting to spend there money during posted open hours of operation..they closed and just blatantly went about taking and bagging the goods they were taking home. Ignorance isn't bliss!! Shame on you Cumberland Farms Laconia!!!

Recently evolved from having the best coffee around to the worst. They installed new digital…read moremachines that are supposed to make getting your coffee easier- they are not easier than simply pouring from a pot of drip coffee (which used to be among the best coffee around). And their card readers that are there to process credit card payments often do not work. So do not bother going here if you like good coffee and/or to pay with your credit card. PS- if you try to contact their customer service center to complain, forget about it- no one answers and you leave a voicemail and they do not call you back.

I ordered a gluten free breakfast sandwich with some modifications that they made with no problem at all and it was seriously amazing. The hot drip coffee (with free refills - so nice) was also very good!! And there's a full market with food/snacks, essentials, farm fresh eggs and other local goods, gifts, wine, and incredible looking fresh bakery items (cakes etc). This place is a gem!!! My son had an appt for a Covid test that he needed to have for a trip. He showed up today for the…read moreappt only to be told that they had cancelled all the appointments!!!! They said they called but that never happened. And in fact, he received a confirmation from CVS for the appt. an hour before!!!! Despite this, they would provide no explanation for the cancellation and basically the pharmacist told him it was his problem and walked away. I called the local stores in nearby towns who could not fit us in [even though it was a CVS error] and called the CVS hotline , thought we had an alternate appointment 30 minutes away but then as was told it was no longer available. No help, not even an I'm sorry. Tests need to be done in a 72-hour period before travel- how can you just cancel the scheduled tests with no alternate solution for your customers!!!

Went into the Spa on Saturday, June 22 2024 around nine AM to purchase a copy of the New York Times…read morewhich I do every Saturday. I also picked up a copy of our free daily newspaper, The Laconia Sun. When I went to check out, the cashier scanned the Times and then searched for a bar code for the Sun. Not finding one, she keyed in three dollars for it under the department "Glass". The total came to seven dollars according to the register not the usual four dollars for the NYT. I confronted her and told her that the Sun was a free newspaper. She took it off and then she said she was a new employee. Was it an honest mistake or was she trying to skim $3.00 from a customer? I am seriously re-thinking doing business with The Laconia Spa.

They are generous with meat and make everything to order. The little sitting area has been sufficient for a quick bite and if you want sides the rest of the store has them.
