Her sweet demeanor and her love and patience with our mother who has cancer is wonderful. We are used to European pastries and cakes and love that there is something extremely authentic in this area. Her Kürtőskalács (Baumstriezel - chimney cakes in English) are extremely authentic and are some of the best I've ever had outside of Hungary and Czechia. Any negative reviews of Little Bakery are based primarily on not understanding the value and time spent to make European pastries, and not enough understanding that authentic baked goods are not loaded with sugar. Come here if you want a taste of Eastern European style baked goods. They are among the top in the region, if not the country.

I ended up getting a chimney cone, which is very flavorful. It had Irish liquor icing in it and berries. It was very unique very very filling price was about $10. I would definitely go back again to get more and try different flavors. Other items there were Apple pastries that are about two dollars. It looked very good as well. Ambience there was very nice. definitely a place I would go and hang out.

Massimo’s Italian Bakery - rainbow cookes - best I've ever had anywhere

I decided it was finally time for a little solo date night... with Massimos Italian Bakery. Nearly…read more6pm on a Friday, walking in alone, knowing I could choose anything I wanted and then sit at a cozy little table to destroy every last crumb in absolute peace? That's my love language. When I arrived, I was person three of three in the small bakery. Quiet and calm, except for a man around my age and a younger boy chatting at a table about basically every topic under the sun. The vibe was gentle, warm, and perfectly unhurried. I took my time browsing their pastry cases--very full pastry cases--and genuinely could have eaten one of everything. But tonight was a dessert-only mission, so I narrowed it down to two knockout items. First up: the easiest decision I've made in months. A HUGE chocolate-dipped cannoli roll filled with hazelnut crème. This masterpiece was absolutely heavenly. The chocolate coating was thick and rich (the kind that snaps when you bite it). The cannoli shell stayed crunchy, which is rare and beautiful. And the hazelnut crème? Smooth, whipped, sweet in that refined way where you feel delighted, not diabetic. Perfection. My second pick was smaller but impossible to leave behind: a Pistachio roll with glossy sweet frosting on the outside, perched on a crunchy cannoli puff, absolutely stuffed with pistachio filling. And let me tell you--this filling was to die for. Sweet, silky, pistachio-forward without veering into "pure nut paste" territory. Pistachio in baked goods can be hit-or-miss for me, but Massimo's nailed the balance. Honestly, they've nailed everything I've ever had from here. My total came to $10.20 including tip, and the value felt spot-on for the size, flavor, and quality of the pastries. Plenty of free parking right out front since it's in a small strip mall. And can we talk about their hours? They're open 7am-7pm, Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays), which is practically unheard of for local bakeries. Those long hours make Massimo's an unbeatable post-dinner dessert stop or a sweet late-afternoon pick-me-up. Friendly staff, gorgeous pastries, shelves of grab-and-go treats, and the peaceful ambiance of a bakery that doesn't rush you. My first solo trip definitely won't be my last. Highly recommend treating yourself. You deserve it.

Everything looked amazing but none of the items I ordered were fresh. Seemed to be a few days old…read more Underwhelming.

Love Momma Millie's!!…read more A couple things you should know beforehand: There is street parking only. 25 cents per 15 minute parking. They are closed on Sunday. Almost everything is sold out by Saturday. You can call ahead to place an order or even ask her to set aside something. You cannot sit down and eat (small bakery.) There is not an online website, but they are on FB! Okay now on to the good part- the baked goods! I have been in here three times. The first time was for a french macaron that I happened to notice when I walked in and figured I'd try it. It was mango. The only flavor left, but it was delicious. Second time I came back for the macarons which were all gone. I decided to go with some vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting and chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. I don't like frosting because it's either too sweet or tastes way too fake, but this frosting was amazing! Melts in your mouth and just has this wonderful flavor. The cupcake itself was moist and flavorful. I also got some oatmeal cookies, which my fiancé scarfed down and said they were the best he ever had. Third time I came back and she had the macarons this time. I got pistachio, mango, strawberry and a couple more that I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Maybe fruity pebbles or passion fruit? Not sure. Some of the macarons had a nice crunch and was fluffy on the inside, while the other flavors were a little chewy. Either way hey they tasted great. I also got an assortment of cookies and more cupcakes! They sell many goodies from cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannolis, whoopie pies, cheesecakes, eclairs, french macarons, cream puffs, brownies, etc. Since they are a local shop it's best to call ahead and see what's available but this is a nice, small local business with a wonderful woman behind the counter that you can tell bakes with love and passion. I will be a loyal customer along with many others to Momma M
