Quaint place tucked into the square in Moneglia. The mussel and clam soup was superb, be sure to add tomato and save your bread to soak up the leftover soup. The lobster spaghetti was alright but not great, and the spaghetti with seafood was basically our appetizer with pasta and squid added (but eating more clams and mussels is never a bad thing). The best part of Vela was the service, our waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, we were greeted with a glass of champagne before our meal and a delicious limoncine after that was unlike any I'd ever had. Not to mention the kitchen gave us an apricot tort free of charge for dessert. Great experience overall. read more
