They had an English menu as well, which was great since I don't speak Portuguese. We parked in the valet and were immediately sat when we walked in. They even let you pick your seat. The vibe of the restaurant is very old school Italian/ rustic. We ordered the bread basket and I ordered the pumpkin gnocchi for my main course. It was amazing; absolutely terrific. I wish I could eat it every day. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the flavor of the sauce was so delicious. They give you very big portions too so you could definitely share the meal with someone. I will make sure to come back here when I am back in the area! One of my favorite meals I had in Brazil.

We ordered bruschetta, table bread, and truffle ravioli. The food was great!! The little bread rolls in the table bread was so good I ate so many of them :) The regular bruschetta was really good as well. I didn't try the mushroom one though. The truffle ravioli was so buttery and delicious omg I could eat infinite plates of it hahaha! If you have never been to Bellini or are staying at the Vitoria hotel, you definitely need to stop in for a meal.

I was first recommended this restaurant by multiple people who live in Campinas when I asked for the best pizza place around. I'm really glad I listened!! The vibe is classy Italian pizza oven with the little bistro like chairs, white table cloths, and giant pizza oven inside the restaurant. I ordered an Aperol Sprits for a drink and it was delicious. For food, we ordered the Primo and Via-Vai. The Primo is by far my favorite, but both were amazing. The Primo pizza has tomatoes, mozzarella, and prosciutto. The Vai-Vai pizza has wild arugula, tomato confit, and mozzarella. The service at Braz is always great. We always come during the busy time and are seated right away. The waiters are always nearby waiting to take your next order or serve you your next slice. I will say it was definitely strange the first time to have the waiter give you your slice of pizza instead of the pizza being on the table and you grabbing it yourself. Also side note for Americans: everyone in Brazil eats pizza with a fork and knife!

I started with meat and cheese. The waiter was able to recommend a cheese to go with the beer and nailed it. The bread that can with the platter was made on sight. Amazing how light the focacia bread is. I ordered the hake with grape risotto. I was skeptical but it is amazing. It is buttery and the savory of the mushrooms blends perfectly with the sweet of the grape. The fish was meaty and flavorful similar to a swordfish. A perfect pairing with the risotto. A couple tips. My waiter was Gustavo. His speaks English well and really knows the food. I almost wonder if he owns part of the restaurant.
