The bread that came with it (and the main course, too) was just fresh and excellent. For my main course I had one of the changing specials of handmade, fresh pasta with pesto. It tasted excellent, the pasta had the perfect texture and the right temperature. A colleague of mine had a pizza with Italian salami, he said it was downright perfect. Zuerst einmal waren die Tischreihen so eng aneinander gestellt, das es sicher dem Umsatz des Lokals hilfreich war, aber für Gäste, die öfters zu einem Buffet aufstehen sollten, unmöglich! Die Angestellten waren nur darauf aus, zusätzliche Getränke extra zu verkaufen, aber das Buffet, was von 10-15 Uhr angepriesen wird, nur dürftig nachfüllte. Brötchen waren zu hart aufgebackene Ware... nichts frisch. Ebenso der Obstsalat , der an Dosenfrüchte erinnerte. Die Käse und Wurstsalate schien bei keinem beliebt, denn die billige Discounter Salami oder Mortadella zeigte schon schnell trockene Ränder ( ob die abends auf die Pizza kommt?) Ab 12 Uhr gab es warme Speisen dazu, Kartoffelgratin und ein lauwarmes Fleisch. Crêpes sollten vielleicht auch nicht beim Italiener angeboten werden, es sei denn, man weiß,wie sie gemacht werden. Das einzige, was bei Freunden ankam, war der Lachs. Aber wer keinen Fisch mag, da war das Buffet dann doch arg überteuert in Anbetracht der 'Auswahl'... wenn denn nachgelegt wurde. Fall 2018 I fell even more in love when I found truffle cream pasta. Tesoro's cuisine is the stuff dreams are made of. Their service is incredibly attentive. They even remember our names! And they remember are favorites and preferences. Even though I'm only in Hanover once a year, they make me feel like a valued patron every time I visit. And how do I visit! I'm in Hanover for a week and will dine at Tesoro three of the nights. (I'd be there every night if I could.) It's just that good. I start with Prosecco Rose, which is a pure treat. And then Bruschetta. And last time they had a scallop's special as an appetizer that was amazing. Then, I still love the fresh pasta in the parmesan bowl, but I tried the Truffle Cream Pasta and can't get it out of my mind. It's fresh, creamy and they generously add truffles. It's so delicious that I'll finish every last drop no matter how full I become. If you're looking for an intimate setting, exceptional service, and the highest quality of delicious Italian cuisine - definitely seek out Tesoro. And I do recommend reservations.

First, don't get the "Aperitivo" plate unless you want to eat a bunch of cold veggies. I was expecting some "salumi" on my plate being that the plate costs €9, it didn't. I got the a glass of Montepulciano and I literally got a glass, not a wine glass mind you, but a wine in a glass you'd use for water. On a positive note, the service and the price is great. The pasta was how I expected it to be: al dente. Overall, if you're used to authentic Italian cuisine, you'd fine this acceptable. I'd recommend this place to my Italian friends except the antipasti.
