The food here is brilliant, especially for vegetarians. There are lots of fish based and other meat based meals, and a vegetarian option for either main or entree, and it is not a pasta or risotto. The menu was the most unimaginative I have seen in a restaurant for as long as I can remember. You could get better than this in most country pubs, the food was really of a $10 special kind. The first taste of my meal was "chicken a la fridge", it was over cooked and tough. The vegetables on the side were simply steamed or microwaved, no other treatment. The potato was so over cooked I couldn't keep it on my fork. Really, really lazy cooking. I had heard good things about this place so I can only guess that the chef was on holidays and the owner took over the kitchen for a few weeks? Very nice setting. read more
