Last time I wrote, Mike had redone the new part of our roof, to fix all the issues caused by the…read moreprior roofer. Today (Palm Sunday) we had a leak in the part of the roof Mike hadn't originally installed. I gingerly texted Mike to ask his advice. What I got back was well more than anything I could have expected. Mike called to tell me his supervisor, Travis, was already en route to our house. I then got a call from Travis saying he was twenty minutes out. 18 minutes later, he was at the door. He reviewed the leak inside, got his ladder and climbed up the roof and within ten minutes, was back down and showing me pictures of where he'd determined a dryer vent had let water in. Mike called me back to tell me he had a team he could send. Now. I told him it's Palm Sunday, I don't want to take your guys away from their families. Mike said, they are busy all week, this is my best chance to get this fixed. It won't take more than four hours. I agreed and within an hour, there they were at the door, ready to go. They cleared the tile, laid proper under layers - three layers in total. Then buttoned it all up again and were done within two and a half hours. I got a full set of pictures from Mike explaining every step of what was done. All this would be great on a weekday. But a Sunday? Palm Sunday? I am just in awe. From a customer perspective, it's like having a choice of hiring superheros like Mike and his team, or saying no thank you - I prefer the usual sheisters and snake oil salesmen that typically make up the roofing business. You can spin the wheel and take your chances - but for me - I just feel damn lucky to have found someone who provides this level of service and this quality of work all for a really modest price.

I recently contacted Mike's Roofing for a quote, and I was impressed with their prompt…read moreresponse--they got back to me the very same day. Giovanni visited my home on a Saturday to assess the project, and by Monday, I had a detailed quote in hand. I obtained three quotes for replacing the fascia on the front of my house, and while Mike's Roofing provided the most competitive price, I wanted to ensure that quality wasn't being compromised. After comparing the proposals, I noticed slight differences in how each contractor planned to perform the work. When I spoke with Giovanni about these differences, he was professional, transparent, and knowledgeable. He explained why his team used their particular method, noting that the alternatives weren't necessarily wrong, but that his approach ensured better long-term results. He also assured me that if any issues arose, they would promptly address them and stand by their work. By contrast, the other contractors I spoke with were dismissive and reluctant to explain their methods. Some even stated they wouldn't take responsibility if problems came up later. That experience made my decision to go with Mike's Roofing an easy one. Once I awarded them the job, the team was able to fit me into their schedule quickly. They arrived exactly when they said they would, took great care to protect surrounding areas, and left my property spotless at the end of each day. They removed and replaced all the fascia efficiently and with great attention to detail. The finished result exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship and professionalism were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled roofing company, I wholeheartedly recommend Mike's Roofing.

This is an update to my previous 1 star review of this horrendous company…read more After weeks of back and forth calls, texts and claiming our home was in the middle of 2 or 3 overlapping work areas, they finally sent someone out to evaluate our nightmare. On October 24th, 2025, they sent their General Manager, Alex Fante, out to our home. He went under my home and came out shaking his head and apologizing profusely. Fante admitted ALL of their equipment (dehumidifier, sump pump, sump pump battery, etc.) had failed. That catastrophic failure lead to mold and mildew under the home as well as all of the flooring in our home to buckle and be destroyed. The interior doors to every room were swollen and sticking. In a nut shell, when they finally admitted ALL of their sub-par equipment had failed and failed miserably, they agreed to clean the crawl space under our home and install all new liners, new sump pump battery and a new dehumidifier. They also agreed to send a mold and mildew specialist out from Jupiter. As for the ruined flooring throughout our home, Alex Fante, their own General Manager, stated he was "authorized" to give a starting offer of $6,500.00 toward replacing the flooring, which we informed him was less than half of the quotes we had already been receiving from local flooring contractors. Fante then stated the $6,500.00 offer would only be given if I removed the negative review from Yelp. Clearly, I did not remove the negative review, nor did I ever received a single dime toward any flooring replacement or any of the mold remediation treatments and dehumidification equipment I purchased. Weeks went by and I never heard back from anyone in that company even when Fante swore to us he would "be back in a couple of days" with more Y-fittings, ductwork for under the home and a mold specialist. While at our home on October 24th, 2026, Alex Fante was presented with a running total (well over $1,000.00 at that time) of all the equipment, preventive measures and drastic steps I was forced to perform to attempt to stave off any more damage to our home while they decided amongst themselves which "territory" would take responsibility for their screw up. Fante told me to submit the invoices to him directly and he would have me "reimbursed immediately." I did as instructed, and never heard a word about it again nor ever received a dime for the monies I was forced to lay out. On Thursday, December 11, 2025, I texted the GM, Alex Fante again asking what his plans were for fixing the nightmare we were still living with in our home. No response at all. The following day, December 12, 2025, I sent the same message again to Fante. His reply was he was on leave due to a death in his family, stating he would be back in the office the following Monday and would "call to discuss next steps. Sorry for the delay..." I sent him our condolences and waited. And waited. And waited.... When no response ever came for one month, I again reached out to him on Monday, January 12, 2026. I explained once again that we had been waiting quite patiently for their next call, plan of action, mold specialist, the remainder of promised equipment and new flooring. Alex Fante's response: "I am no longer with Alpha Foundations. You can reach out to this number..." And the number he supplied was the number I originally called and was told we were never serviced by their company in the first place. What the actual fuck?!?! Back to ground zero. Well over three (3) months wasted dealing with this half-assed, pass the buck company that had no issue taking my money in the beginning, doing shoddy work, installing inferior equipment that failed numerous times over the years and then denying we were even a customer of theirs when called back to fix their destruction of our home from the bottom up. Since they denied having ever done the work at our home, I have bought all new equipment and machinery to stave off the continued destruction their inferior work has caused to our home. I have thousands of dollars out of my pockets to attempt to remedy their failed equipment, buckled flooring in ever room of our home and mold and mildew on the floor joists below our house. So to end this review, if you ever need any foundation work, crawlspace encapsulation or anything this company offers, DO NOT CALL ALPHA FOUNDATIONS!!!! By far the worst company we have ever dealt with in Florida to date. If Alpha Foundations wants to remedy this nightmare, you have my phone number, even though you have claimed to never have done the work in the first place and we "are in the middle of two or three overlapping territories..." Whatever excuse you want to use is fine. Clearly we were a customer or you would not have sent out the crew to attempt to half-ass fix your screw ups and replace ALL of the defective equipment. Time to call the lawyers!
