Their Mobile Deposit SUCKS. Supposed to be convenient but you have to wait 11 days for any checks to clear including business checks.

So and So.. They were OK with us and gave us loans from time to time. They aren't very tech savvy. I've had the debit card system go down on several occasions when I was out of town on a weekend. It wasn't fixed until Monday morning. On one occasion, I was stranded out of town with no way to purchase gas to drive home. The online banking website frequently goes down, sometimes in the middle of the business day. Almost impossible to reach someone by phone to discuss your account, you are constantly transferred to voicemail.. I had better luck driving there to speak to someone. Your better off opting out of overdraft services on your debit card. That way if there is no money in your account, the card doesn't work. Ripco has some sort of formula in place where they will try to collect every debit card overdraft they possibly can. They will post your pending transactions in an order where they can collect the most overdraft fees.. I overdrafted 8 items, and mathematically I have no idea how this was possible, my balance was still positive.. When I shut that option off, the problem was eliminated. Ripco also no longer snail mails you overdraft notices.. Kind of unnerving, they take in $25.00 per overdraft, but can't afford the bulk postage rate to send you a notice? Otherwise, They are OK with friendly employees, that will go the extra mile.. I would change to another credit union, but I have direct deposit, and a couple of autopays.. read more
