Something for your next jeopardy question, "Allen Jackson was first concert to play." We had great floor seats but the folding chairs weren't as comfortable as I hoped. We were practically sitting on top of each other. However, to my surprise the pèrson sitting next to me had to leave half way through the concert. Win for us! The Arena feels rather small compared to other arena's I've been too. The arena seats up to 5,500 persons in hockey configuration and 6,800 for concerts. The audio was off occasionally but we still enjoyed the band. I'm thinking the higher seat appeared to be comfortable and possibly the way to go for the next concert. Sitting on the floor was great but our viewing experience was dependent on the person sitting in front of us. Getting out of the parking lot was the normal traffic jam. Lots of people rushing to get out all in the same direction . The security guard was giving it his all and 25 minutes we were on our way home.

Officer told us parking was full, yet most paved spots were empty (!!) It was raining when we went and it was all muddy. Cars were getting stuck. Seats are not comfortable for bigger people. They closed down bathrooms before the concert ended. They can do better.

Dancentre prepared me to study under world renowned dance professionals, to study at North East School of the Arts (#8 arts school in the country), and to flourish on my university's dance team. In addition, I gained life long friends and directors that I know will continue to support me in my adult life. I learned discipline, time-management, commitment, prioritization, teamwork, handling constructive criticism, punctuality, and many other things that have aided me in everyday life as a student and employee. When returning to Dancentre to visit, I always feel welcomed home, and it's amazing to see how much the studio and dancers have grown since I started attending nearly 11 years ago.

We looked at the light…read morepath and there were cars driving with 0 back up so we couldn't understand why the line was going so slow. My husband got out and walked to the light entrance to see what was causing the slow down. Food vendors!!! People were holding up the line at drive thru food vendors! No there was no separate ordering food only line, no there was no sign or path to go around, no there was no one directing the people not buying food to go around people waiting for their order. If a family of 10 people insisted of shoving a pile of 10 different snacks not their effing mouths, you have to wait for each and every one of them even if you weren't buying food. Biggest brain dead moron organized this crap fear. Just don't go. The South Pole event is better

I personally was invited to attend the show and was not expecting all the new updated entertainment. This show if far from the old expected circus acts that you would have been to when you were kid. No dirty benches, weird clowns, or chained up animals. This show was uniquely designed with live performances and band, updated lighting and made for a pleasant atmosphere. Only reason for the 3 stars were due to the lack of soap / sanitzer in rest areas, high pricing on kids souveniers and for the unpleasant mishap with the young acrobat on stage when we attended earlier last week OUCH! ( hope she is okay).. but like the ringmaster says" The Show Must Go On"....

Previously we sat in the balcony, but this event was open seating and we found seats almost in the middle, side to side and just under the balcony, so really good seats position wise. The seats themselves left something to be desired as the seat backs are a bit too reclined for my comfort. The seat cushions themselves were worn and a bit firm as well. Overall it's a good venue and since this was a free concert... well worth the price.

The cesspool odor entering the building was something I didn't expect. Also I found the upkeep on the place pretty bad; dirty floors, peeling paint on handrails. If McAllen is going to charge premium prices for this venue they should keep this place in better shape. Parking management was bad too as a lot just north of it was closed. A rating of "Pooh!" For the venue.
