We were told that the pre-k program was amazing. We wanted our son to attend this school knowing it…read morehad great reviews and it would incorporate our faith teaching our child about Jesus. Long story short, I would never recommend this program to anyone. It was a huge disappointment. The communication was awful and no one is on the same page. We are very disappointed with our experience and felt the need to write a review so that no other child or parent has to experience what we went through. When I say that no one was on the same page, I mean that every day was a different report-- some great and some not so great. A lot of typical behaviors that 3 and 4 year olds exhibit along with some nice staff and some rude staff (Probably not well trained with this age group). On one occasion I was told, by a staff member at the school, that our son was "not the problem" and they thought I should know that he is "very polite, sweet and a lovable boy." This individual felt compelled to inform us of this because they saw how distressed I was everyday at pickup and they knew the inside happenings of staff members behaviors causing the issues in this particular classroom. I can only imagine how they treated him. No child should be treated this way, especially one this young and unable to effectively advocate for himself. No family or parents should feel the anxiety we felt everyday wondering what was happening with their child and wondering why he was behaving worse at school than at home. It breaks our hearts that our child experienced this and having to explain to him that he can no longer go back to see the teachers he liked or the friends he made. It's even more disappointing and shameful that this all happened at a Catholic school. Everything happens for a reason and I'm thankful our child is at a better placement where he is happy, safe, and excelling.
