It was great to actually make everything right there in the tiny kitchen. The food was great, as most fried foods are delicious, but definitely more of a gourmet touch here. The sauce on the pajaritos was great balance to the onion. The spicy beef empanada was really good with a nice amount of heat. The lamb empanada was my favorite though, nice rich flavor that is unmistakable. This is a great place just a couple blocks from the Plaza del Pilar and it should be on your list.

We went here three times during a one week stay in Zaragoza. It is close to the Roman theater…read moremuseum. Every time we stopped there we loved the experience. The tomato dishes were outstanding as was the Spanish jamon. The wait staff were engaged and fun to order from even with our rudimentary spanish. We had 2 sets of six tapas on our last visit, and I liked some more than others but fun to experiment with. There is a QR code to see an English menu but its largely in Spanish to be ready to use Translate or go with the flow and enjoy the stuff you like most and the ambience.
