Everything was delicious ‼ For dessert we did order a chocolate and pear cake, we were not to keen on it so they did bring us out some amazing Panna Cota, with a homemade raspberry sauce. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed and they will explain their water machine, juicer, afternoon snacks, breakfast set up (8am - 10am) and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast is amazing! All high quality selections, delicious coffee, yogurt, meats, cheeses, breads, focaccia, soft boiled eggs, etc., etc. the croissants are made locally and are amazing. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed with air conditioning that works well. Bathrooms are well appointed and clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable and rooms are kept spotless. Staff are happy to make local recommendations and can sell you hiking trail / train passes as needed. All their recommendations to us were excellent and appreciated. Great location right in the Main Street in Monterosso. Stairs required to enter hotel, so be advised if mobility is an issue but they do have a stair lift but you'd need to ask to use it. Our room (suite) had an elevated bed area that required stairs to access the main living area and bathroom so again, be advised if you have mobility issues. Hotel provides beach bag and beach towels for your use. Parking nearby (at a cost) and steps away from the marina and ferries. Short walk to the new part of Monterosso for the train. Convenient home base when visiting Cinque Terre. Staff went above and beyond to help us dry out when we got caught in the rain. Hiking and visiting different towns in the Cinque Terre are is amazing, but requires a level of fitness to truly enjoy. Look no further... great stay. Hotel is very clean and the owner grew up here and knows everyone in town. Final Note: hotel sits upon entrance to older part of town and small delivery trucks make some noise entering town for morning deliveries but this didn't present an issue for us, but calling out for full transparency and note if you are a light sleeper.

There are only 2-3 taxis in Monterosso (costs 15 euros each way). Wait to buy your Cinque Terre pass and Via Dell'Amore ticket - they can help you purchase what you need here for up to half off! We also did the pasta, pesto, and tiramisu class here which was a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend it. It is 120 euros per person and has to be paid in cash - there are several ATMs nearby. We were here for the first day of the Lemon Festival (mid-May) so all the shops had lemon themed displays up!

The owners, Matteo and Carla, as well as the entire staff, are the best I have ever experienced. They are all kind and welcoming. They anticipated our needs by giving us information about the trains and hiking among villages in Cinque Terra. My brother in law wasn't feeling well and stayed at the hotel the first day. Carla called a doctor and also checked on him throughout the day. We all took a cooking class with Carla and it was fabulous. We made tiramisu, pasta, pesto and branzino. She was so patient with our lack of skills and made it fun. We all felt we might be able to do these recipes at home. We ate the delicious meal on an upper terrace with an even more amazing view. We were in Italy for two weeks and this was my favorite hotel. THE BEST!

Martina has several apartments in Vernazza. Two of the rooms, n1 and n3, sit right above the harbor square and have spectacular views. How pleasant to sit in the room with windows open, feeling the Mediterranean breeze and hearing happy voices down below. OK, there is one challenge. Vernazza buildings are historic and have no elevators. So to have the view means climbing four stories worth of stairs. To me it is well worth the climb! I pity the travelers who stay nearer the train station as they get no views and get train noise. Martina is a wonderful host and was very responsive to our requests. I can't wait to return and secure a room with Martina!

Cozy, quiet, and VERY modern and clean! Everything looks and feels as if you're the first people to ever stay in the room - the showers are even especially clean! She provides a mini fridge, safe, kettle in your room, TV, and a little basket of toiletries. Definitely will be back to visit Carola and to stay in this lovely place! Monterosso is very well maintained and manicured which is not always the case for the other 4 cities. We love Casa di Andrea - amazing upkeep and quite high tech for a B&B (electronic key card!). Our room was tidy and cute - it looked like it was just recently renovated. The shower had good water pressure, and the shower door could be closed fully to block out water from getting the bathroom floor all wet. Since Casa is located up the hill, I don't recommend this property for older folks or anyone with mobility issue! You will have to climb up multiple flights of stairs. But the pro is that the view is amazing! Carola runs this property and does it with such great taste! Her breakfast, although simple, is actually our favorite among all the hotels we visited on our trip. From the napkins to the cups and mugs, everything was colorful and elegantly presented! We got fresh coffee, fresh cut fruits, croissants, ham and cheese with toasts, and yogurt for breakfast. My husband typically doesn't eat breakfast and hates carbs, he made an exception for Carola because he loved what she put together. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Monterosso! They also manage the shop downstairs. From the moment we arrived, they were so helpful. Maurizio gave us great dining suggestions too. Federica was also super helpful sending us a note ahead of time with a bunch of suggestions. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There was an adorable common area too where we would get fresh pasties and coffee in the morning. One night they surprised us with champagne in our room to celebrate our honeymoon! We were so grateful. Overall, this place is such a gem. I would totally recommend staying here- and hope to stay here again!
