I…read morewanted something I could make use of back in the US that didn't just take up space, and I knew I was gonna have to fork over some moolah for a nice one. We spent a decent amount of our time in Vienna shopping, and I was able to hit a few stores to find the perfect dirndl. The first two we stopped in were way above the price point I was aiming for--I'm talking upwards of €1000 for the cheapest full outfits--so we had to quickly come up with excuses to gtfo of there. Then we came upon this store, where you can expect to pay €300-700 for a full outfit, and this was more of what I was expecting. I spent over an hour in here, shopping for the perfect dress, apron, blouse, pumps, bra, and even necklace. It's serious business! Gotta find the right colors and sizes in everything--and there's definitely a specific fit you are ideally ending up with. Luckily this place has a ton of options that are great quality for a decent price. A range of colors and lots of styles. Someone at another store said they recommended I go with blue items to match my eyes, but I was already set on green (plus my eyes have some green too)! I was torn between a more expensive green outfit and the one I went with, which was about €100 cheaper. There were a few dressing rooms and luckily the other store patrons were patient and also taking these decisions very seriously, but you know who wasn't patient? The majority of the people working here. Not only were they mostly not patient, they also mostly weren't helpful. I get it, it's Oktoberfest and you have a lot of customers and you're just trying to make it through the day or whatever, but like why did you choose to work in this type of store, in this type of area, if you hate it? So hopefully these people don't work here anymore by the time you arrive to decide on one of the most iconic outfits you will ever own, but if they do, just ignore them and take your sweet-ass time. Treat yoself!

I worn very casual clothing that evening but it is very expensive. I personally think to racial profile customers based on their skin color is extremely racist because all the other "white customers" didn't had a security guard followed them around. Why only me? While I was browsing the Hermes boutique I asked the salesperson to see some accessory items and was immediately told that they were really expensive. She didn't showed me anything except criticize that these items were really expensive. Even insisted that there are other stores in the area that are less expensive for the kinds of items I wanted. I began laughing hysterically in disgust at what I am experiencing at one of my most favorite designer stores in the world. I left the Hermes store and walked to the Versace store to buy upwards of over $10,000 in only men's accessories. A few years later I came back to this boutique as I was living in Vienna. I told them of my VIP Hermes account and after they realized it is over several million dollars in purchases in a eight year period. Once they've found out I got a ultra VIP account, they immediately start treating me respectfully as a VIP offer champagne or wine. When I first moved in Vienna, I've brought over my uncle he wanted to see how his nephew is living in Europe. In North Scottsdale Arizona he drives a half million dollar Rolls Royce Phantom and always flys private. I told him that if he comes to this Hermes store they're going to treat you like dirt because you're asian no matter how expensively you dress. After he visit this Hermes boutique location, he was pretty disgusted at the service. My uncle then left to Japan to continue his Hermes shopping. This is probably one of the worst Hermes boutiques I have ever been to in the world. The services here is absolutely unprofessional and disgusting attitudes.

The shop we've been was in the former address at Schönbrunnerstraße. The owners received us greatly and we have bought many items of the shop specially a tea pot and other things for Christmas. Both mother and daughter speak a quite good English. That's a nice place to buy house decoration , chinaware and now as I've read in this site they have a special room for toys and that is amazing. The…read moreatmospheric location with its gorgeous old-fashion enclosed elevator and huge spiral staircase, chased by a polished wooden banister, improves the store immensely and gives the Vienna flagship an injection of sophistication and class. Definitely beautiful to walk around, though be careful, those stairs are narrow and it's a tight squeeze if some girl is coming down with a mobile phone glued to her head. H&M is split on three different levels, menswear on the bottom and ladieswear and accessories on the ground and second floor. The layout is clean and, rare for all H&Ms in my area, very spaciously laid out. I did not feel crushed in an aisle. Racks are organized with room to move while still presenting the clothing well. It definitely has a boutique feel. Stock and sizes are limited because of the space. I saw fewer larger sizes than small and medium ones, though this could simply be because they go through merchandise quickly. Call ahead if you want a specific item. The shoes here are particularly small (not much larger than European size 38) and the accessories were pretty picked over. Upstairs and downstairs cashiers also help reduce lines, and the later evening hours are good for shopping after a day of sightseeing or working. This spot is very popular with tourists on Kaertnerstrasse and the Stephensplatz, so expect it to be busy. I had little trouble locating a salesperson when I needed help.
