This circular hub right in the main tram terminal of Bellevue holds a special place in my heart as it was the first place I ate at on my first day in Zurich. The piece is cheesy gooey thin crust perfection. For Zurich the pizza prices are incredibly reasonable especially during happy hour when they are, dare I say, cheap? Happy hour is 1145-1345 Monday through Friday. The cheese slices are on offer for 4 chf down from the normal price of 5.50. These are large slices. They also have spicy fresh cut peppers in olive oil to top your pizza. Very delicious. There is very little seating and it is mainly outdoor which can be a struggle because they are typically occupied by those who not eating or drinking but rather smoking. This is not the pizza places fault. A whole pie costs 23 chf and is ready in about 6 minutes. Quick, simple, and delicious. I will be back and will probably be crowned the Duchess of this spot very soon! No credit cards. No parking.

A surprise hit was the dessert menu - gelato was surprisingly inexpensive at around CHF 4 and portions were HUGE. My kids were delighted. Service was attentive but not hovering, our waiter spoke English, and we had a great time in the lovely, open space. Prices were less expensive than I expected, though definitely not "cheap" by American standards :) We will definitely return when in Zurich!
