There aren't enough good things to say about Rimas and his wonderful cinematography skills! My husband (then fiancé) and I, had the pleasure of having Rimas carry out the production of our engagement video in Washington, DC during the very hectic spring Cherry Blossom Festival. We had several specific requests due to the location and overall image we were trying to convey, and Rimas went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. We were very impressed that he had visited the area before the session to scope out picturesque areas, and wasn't afraid to join us on a paddleboat ride on the lake with all of his very expensive camera equipment! This made for some truly amazing scenes, and we are so grateful that he took this risk! It is important to note that sometimes these types of sessions can be overwhelming and intimidating, especially if done in an open public place, but Rimas made us feel absolutely at ease, and reassured us the entire time helping to wean off the nerves. The end result exceeded our expectations--the video itself was very high quality and he truly captured our personalities well. We are so very happy with this investment, and recommend his services completely. read more

When searching for cinematographers for our wedding, I came across Rimas' profile, and met with him personally. He is a down to earth, very professional cinematographer, who is extremely talented, creative and passionate about his work! We immediately hired Rimas for our wedding in October 2014, knowing he had never shot an Indian Punjabi wedding before, only by watching his previous work, and trusting our gut knowing he'd do a fabulous job! We had seen his previous work and knew he had an eye for capturing feelings, emotions and the moment itself. We requested him to capture our pre-wedding events, and produce a 'Next Day' edit for our reception the following day. Rimas was present at all our pre-wedding events, he took initiative to capture all important events at each of these ceremonies, capturing our family so beautifully. Rimas didn't know anything about our culture, but did a fabulous job with our video. We trusted his ability and played the video at our reception without watching it first, and he blew us away!! Not only us, it was all 300 people present at our reception! Rimas is truly amazing at capturing moments, that we normally miss at an on going event. I can honestly say he captured every single person in our family in the 7 minute video so beautifully! The video has been such a hit with our family and guests, that it had 1000 views in the first week of the wedding. Here's a link to the video because you honestly have to see his work for yourself to understand how truly amazing and talented Rimas is - https://vimeo.com/110008340. His work speaks volumes and if you had an eye for appreciating good cinematography, you would see the his work and recognize his talent and creativity. My husband and I can truly vouch for Rimas! He may not have been in the business long enough, but trust us when we tell you that he is the best at Wedding Cinematography! We highly recommend Rimas for wedding photography. In preparation for a large scale dance festival, our non-profit organization was in an urgent need for a professional cinematographer who could help us create a promotional video in a fast turnaround. Rimas executed our directed story line above and beyond by adding his unique creative touch and capturing great unexpected shots that ended as the highlight moments in our final video. The final video hit 11K views on social media in less than a week! The whole organization was very impressed by and thankful for his direct responsiveness to our comments and any minor requests for edits during the post-editing. I would definitely recommend Rimas' services not only for the weddings but for any special occasion where even a simple story can be conveyed through artistically captured moments and presented in a professional style. read more

Rimas demonstrated utmost professionalism from start to finish! He was quick to respond to inquiries and was easily able to accommodate to requests. I met him for the first time on our wedding day and he was very calm and focused the whole time. I barely even noticed he was around! He also worked really well with my photographers. On a side note, I later found out that my husband had not eaten much before the wedding and Rimas offered him some snacks to get him through the portraits. How sweet and amazing was that?! When we received our highlight video and full video, we were in awe of the amazing job he did. All the emotions from our special day came back and we could not be any more grateful for this beautiful keepsake we now have of our wedding. Thank you so much Rimas! We love you! read more

Rimas was an amazing videographer/cinematographer for our wedding reception! He came at a bit of a premium to some of the other options we were looking at, but in all honestly my wife and I think the money was well worth it. He was very responsive over email and over the phone, and worked quickly to get us our final videos. We had a destination wedding out of the country a few months before our reception in the U.S., but would have loved to use Rimas for that as well if we had known about him beforehand and could have flown him out. Everyone we've shown our reception videos to has remarked on the very high video quality and great production values. They really look like professionally-made music videos! We would definitely recommend Rimas to anyone considering him for their wedding! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Rimas! He is such a nice guy, asked all the right questions and made me feel so comfortable during the booking process. I saw his work online and knew we had to book him- hands down one of our favorite vendors. He was so low key that we barely noticed he was t filming for the whole day and I think that added to the incredible candid shots he got of us and our guests. We received our highlight video two weeks after our wedding!!! It was such a surprise to receive it so soon and the quality of the film is absolutely amazing, our friends and family have all said it's the best wedding film they've ever seen. Rimas is hands down the BEST. I don't even know how many hours, possibly days, that I spent looking for a videographer, and once I saw just one of his feature films I knew that he would be perfect to capture our special day. I am so so so happy that we went with him. Rimas and his crew were super cool, mellow and professional. They were not the type of videographers that overwhelm the crowd or bride/groom. They were so discreet that, to be honest, I would forget that they were even there. I feel so bad saying that because they are so awesome but its the truth, which in hindsight is a good thing (they may be ninjas on the side). The way they were able to put our entire day into a 4 minute video showing the most important and special moments of our night is absolutely beyond me. The video is beautiful. Pure art. I am still besides myself on how amazing our feature film came out and have honestly watched it like 15 times today. I cannot wait to see the pure magic he works for our 15 min and our 45 minute video. If you are looking for a videographer who is EXTREMELY talented, low key, professional and super nice then look no further. Stop your hours and days of searching because Rimas and his crew are amazing and you will not regret going with them. They love what they do and it shows in their work. read more

As a professional photographer (not videographer) myself, I see videographers at weddings all the time, however not all wedding videographers are professionals (needless to say how many times I got my shots ruined by a videographer jumping into a scene) or even passionate about their videography work. Rimas is a wedding videographer (cinematographer) and I know him personally, he's a great person and very passionate about his work. It's a pleasure to see him work, he gives 100% out at anything he does. I worked with Rimas on several occasions and I was surprised how well aware of my positioning he was all the time, he never crossed my shot, he was basically invisible to my camera, but boy was he working... I didn't see him rest for a minute, always trying new angles and looking for best shot. Several times I found myself following and copying him to get some nice interesting shots. His videos are outstanding too, he makes boring dull events look like the most exciting film and you feel captivated by the whole storytelling experience and mind-blowing picture quality. If you are for look out for a wedding videographer (cinematographer) I highly recommend Rimas videography service. read more
