Alan was super professional but at the same time made me feel so comfortable. I had the best experience. He is so talented and sweet and omg there really aren't enough words to describe him. His assistant is amazing as well, they were both making sure that every detail was perfect. He told me that the pictures would be ready two weeks and that's exactly how long he took. Once I saw the photos, I was in awe. I had no complaints, not one bad feeling about any of the images. I loved them so much. He made my dream come true. Once we decided on a venue, the next step was to decide on a photographer. We'd received several recommendations from friends in south Florida as well as from our wedding venue. After having a chat with Andy and seeing her portfolio of work, we knew she was the one. We first met her in April 2014, when we went down to Coral Gables to handle some wedding business. We decided we wanted to take our engagement photos down there and thought it would be the perfect time to get to know Andy. Despite the epic heat, we were able to take hundreds of beautiful photos that we used to announce our upcoming wedding to friends and family. Fast forward to our wedding day, Andy and her assistant arrived and went right to work. They photographed every small detail of our day. Her use of natural light is amazing and something that everyone notices in her work. She does not edit her pictures much, which is something I was really looking for. I didn't want over saturated color (like many photographers do), but wanted natural, beautiful photos. She also takes time in finding the perfect spots to take pictures. The backgrounds of my photos were gorgeous. She will definitely find the best setting with the best lighting for you. The talent is definitely there! Katie works with her husband, Cito, and they were very nice, fun and easy to work with. They arrived on time and got coverage of the entire day. They were very organized with their time- - everything was planned according to a schedule that was prepared for us weeks before the wedding. They also guided us through the portraits/poses, which is nice and helpful. Cito ran our photobooth and took great shots of the guests.. very fun idea! Everyone loved the photobooth! Anyways, I highly recommend them. I am in love with all of my wedding photos. It's so funny the difference a professional photographer makes. I have the same photos of wedding events from her and from family and the difference is crazy. She blows them out of the water with her eye for beautiful shots. Not only that, but she was great to work with, so friendly and very professional. One thing though I was a little disappointed with is that some pictures on the beach, including my ceremony were blown out so you can't see the sky. This is because Katie's style is to use natural light without a flash and no editing. I totally respect that and knew about it before hand, but it was a little disappointed by those photos. After some editing on photoshop I was I able to edit the sky back in, but for the price I paid $$$ I would have appreciated if that editing came with my photos. However, as a whole I was very happy with her work.
