Well, that's exactly what happened when I stumbled across one of his pictures on social media. I immediately went to his profile, and I was completely in love with his pictures. I was blown away. I did not read his reviews online or did not know anyone who could have recommended him to me. I booked him right away for our engagement/10-year anniversary shoot and that same day I wasted no time and booked him for the wedding as well lol. He was the first one I booked even without having a venue or anything else. As I went to my vendors for the wedding when they asked who the photographer was everyone spoke incredible things about him, about his talent, professionalism, and how amazing he is and to think that all of this started based on one of his professional pictures on social media. His pictures were unique, artistic, and completely different to what you see out there, which was exactly what I was looking for. Then, once my husband and I meet him "we fell in love" lol literally. What's not to love? He has a great personality, approachable, professional, funny, adventurous, and cool. He is easy to work with and a true artist and a creator of magic with his lens. He truly loves what he does. However, it is the experience and service he provides to all his clients that are the most important for him. Which tells you a lot about who he is not only as a photographer but as a human being. Also, his staff is incredible. On the other hand, I must mention I am a (little) difficult to work with (lol). Picky, critical and I see everything, even the smallest details. The day of the shoot I was a bit nervous, but he made me feel comfortable, we were laughing, making jokes, and talking about life. Miguel made the experience unique, and unforgettable. It was our 10th year anniversary, and he even had a beautiful gift for us (engraved which I love) that I still have in our room. I cannot wait for our wedding. I am going to need all the laughs, I can get to calm my nerves lol. The only reason I came across Supanik Photography was because I got an email that I won a free…read moreboudoir session after attending a bridal show. Spoiler alert: the email was a trick. I was super excited and quickly scheduled my photo session with Bruce. I'm paying for my wedding myself so this prize was a huge relief with so many other expenses biting into my tight budget. The photo session was slightly awkward but Bruce did do his best to make us feel comfortable. Once we were finished taking the photos and I asked when I'd be able to see them, Bruce finally revealed his elusive price sheet. Products ranged from $200-$2000 for anything from digital downloads to expertly crafted Italian photo boxes. Yes, the products were nice but I was under the impression that I'd at least get to keep a few low-res photos from my experience. I explained to Bruce that I didn't anticipate these high costs and that my budget is already so tight as-is. He told me that it's expensive to run a photography studio and he couldn't afford to be very flexible with his prices. Rather than hiding these expensive products, they should have been included upfront with the initial email so already vulnerable girls don't waste their time on an experience that they ultimately can't afford. After working up the courage to take boudoir photos, of course girls will want to have access to the finished product...I just wish the prize and any fine print or terms and conditions were more clear. The icing on the cake was when I found a Groupon for a photo session with Bruce which included a password-protected online gallery for $39, and asked if he would honor that price for me. Since we had already taken the photos, I'd just be paying for the gallery access so my friends could help me decide which, if any, photos to purchase. He lied and told me that there was no digital gallery, even though it was clearly an inclusion of the deal, and that was when I decided that I didn't want to give Bruce any of my money. I'm sure the photos turned out great but I'll never see them.

When I booked with him he would respond very quickly. Now that my wedding is over, it has been impossible to have a conversation with him. I booked with this photographer/videographer specifically for the drone footage because my venue was so beautiful. They were not able to fly the drone at my venue due to being near a private airport. You would think they would make sure they could provide all of their services prior to me booking with them. Once I received review of my wedding video, I noticed random drove footage of a lake that was not part of my venue. So not only did they just not even tell me they couldn't fly at my venue, they just assumed I'd be okay with this random footage instead of telling me why they could not fly that day. It has been 10 months and I still have not received my photo album or the video. I recommend this photographer if you like playing the waiting game for responses.
