Once she knows your size and style, you'll be all set! She knows her clients! This store was voted the best resale shop in Michigan. When walk into this beautifully decorated and well-stocked store it doesn't look or feel like a typical resale shop. She has an eye for couture, current trends, vintage, and formal wear in sizes from extra small to XXL. No matter what your size, you'll find fashionable clothing. She also carries accessories (scarves, jewelry, purses, etc...) One of her mottos is "being broke ain't cute" and her clothing is priced right. If you catch a sale, don't sleep on it. I've gotten many designer dresses around $30-$35. Of course there are items below and above this price! She usually does a weekly FB "live" so that you can see some of her mostly one of a kind inventory. There are dressing rooms inside with adequate space and full-size mirrors. There is still a mask policy. So wear one or she had them for you at the door. There's paid parking on 9 mile and in the back lot.

Not only was I on a time crunch but only one shoe that was a major dilemma for me nevertheless I took the shoe up to the front and one of those sales ladies immediately came over and reassured me that she would find I'm missing you or another pair of non-skid shoes for me. Yesterday, Friday November 8, 2024 I sang songs written by author/musician Heather Buchanan and Tracy Kash for Heather's newest novel titled, VICTORS. It is about Black musicians who went to France to help fight in World War I. Ultimately, they were largely responsible for our victory and when they weren't fighting they were playing music, sharing the new jazz sound which influenced not only Europe but the world. My dress, purse, fan, long strand of pearls and headpiece, all purchased from the Peacock Room in the Park Shelton were a smash hit! Though they have quite a variety of special occasion dresses, it is somewhat difficult to navigate on your own. The racks are all very tightly packed even though they are organized by size the groupings are somewhat hard to manage. The sizes they offer seem to go from petite/xs to multiple x. At the time, there was one employee there assisting customers and another doing some alterations. The poor woman who was helping customers was torn between 4 sets of people, some looking for wedding attire as well as homecoming and mother of the bride. She listened to our preferences and then scurried through the store bringing us several options. Unfortunately none of them work for us but she was extremely courteous and helpful especially considering the pressure she had to be under.
