I had my eye surgery (LASIK) here last April and I am very satisfied with the level of care that both the doctors and the optometrists provide. Since my glasses strength was bigger than -6, I was qualified for "free" surgery and was referred to this hospital. I had a very thorough pre-surgery check and even the surgery itself was very smooth. Carsten Edmund, my doctor - who happened to be "overlæge" at the department - was very patient and cared to explain the steps of the surgery. During the surgery he was also very patient with me although I was super nervous and very anxious about the surgery. They also do very good follow up / post surgery check up. I can't really complain apart from the long waiting time whenever I'm called up for a check, but that's how hospitals are, I suppose. I had to wait 45 minutes once for my appointment but usually it averages at 10-15 minutes. read more
