I have tried the guys that show up at farmers markets - they do an OK job but don't come close to the precision that Mark is able to produce. Nathan is a GREAT guy, and I was in there for a total of about 10 minutes and my blade came out sharp as could be, and still had time to chat with him and the desk worker for a little bit. He mentioned he does classes on how to make your own knives, and he sharpens so much more than just knives and mower blades. I respect his work and you should to! I wanted to walk into a business, buy a machine that was assembled, and go home and get to work on the driveway. And this is exactly what Medinger offered. Joe Medinger was informative regarding different brands and models. He put gas and oil in the machine I bought, gave me a brief lesson on how to operate and even loaded it into the bed of my truck. And 30 minutes after walking into Medingers, I was clearing off my driveway. I did not receive any of the poor service the other Yelpers did. In fact, the previous reviews almost kept me away.
