The company she unfortunately represents is to be avoided…read more After 20 odd years of policies with State Farm for homes, cars, motorcycles, RV's and boats, we cancelled our boat policy and moved it to a less expensive insurance company. State Farm is now making us pay $162 for coverage AFTER the cancellation. Penny checked into it, and it's a State Farm thing and there is nothing she can do about it. If I don't pay, State Farm will take it from the commission they paid her for signing us up, and they will report it to my credit bureau. Just avoid State Farm. (Sorry, Penny).

Sadly, after decades of no problems, the past 18 months have been tough on me. My agent and her staff have been there for me for every incident. I had to make several claims in this past year, from towing to car damage. I find the take a photo and send it through the app or fax your tow bill to be cumbersome and confusing. Consistently, I have called LaRae's office and received excellent help. Maia has been my immediate point of contact and assisted me from the submit a tow bill to the more confusing "they want to total my car" or "I am out of state and the potholes were so bad they damaged my car" situations. The lady took my information and told me she'd call me back. In less than 30 mins, she called me back with quotes from the best 3 priced carriers. I was amazed at how many different companies that she could tell me thier price. I ended up with Progressive. They were the best deal all around. Then the lady told me that if my Progressive policy later increased, all I need to do is call her at Heartland and with a click of a few buttons, she would put my policy out to bid.
