I cannot say enough good things about this school. my son started going here when it was called kiddos Cove when he was about 15 months old and he is now almost 5! When Miss Cindy came and took ownership and turned it into Right Steps academy is when I really finally saw what an amazing professional daycare/school is. every single teacher is absolutely amazing and kind and they really do love the kids. I feel safe with my son here. They do fun activities all the time and have water days in the summer and parties and police officers and firefighters come to the school they had pony rides at one point there is always something fun to do but aside from that my son is only in VPK right now and they are already working with him doing short sentences and sight words. They pay attention to what each individual child needs and that is very important Ms Zulma and Ms Bessie are amazing VPK teachers. I would recommend to absolutely anyone that I know looking for a wonderful learning environment for their children. read more

I have tried to write this message many times without crying because there are so many words of gratitude that I have in this place, that there is not enough space for that. For my daughter and me, within 1 day a cycle will close in a beautiful place, which I don't want to leave but that's life. We absolutely love the new owners, the changes they are completing, and the teachers. They are making fast changes and doing it with great level of communication to the parents. Since taking over from Kiddos Cove owners tve already found and resolved safety concerns caused by the previous owners, added proper working cameras, and they have added exceptional teachers to the staff (to name a few). For example, my daughter went from barely talking to talking within 2 weeks of being in her new classroom with her new teacher. The previous owners (kiddo's cove) in the beginning were wonderful as well. However, the last 4 months of their ownership of the school it went downhill and fast. We were already enrolled in another school when the ownership changed. The only reason we stayed was for the experience my daughter is having with Right Steps Academy owners and teachers. Right Steps Academy actually is taking the right steps for our children and I would recommend them. read more

Initially, like any parent, I was worried about the transition, but it has been smooth and has been improved. The new management has clearly showcased their commitment. The organization within the school has also visibly improved, and the lines of communication between the school and parents have never been clearer. After three years at Wellington, I decided I needed to change schools for the kids. Went on a tour & joined in December. My expectations have been blown away since. The director Cindy has been incredibly responsive & polite. My kids enjoy going to school & have grown attachments to their new teachers already. I have to recognize Ms. Makhenna, my daughter loves her. She's shown her professionalism and patience to us as we were overcoming a personal difficulty my daughter was having. I absolutely LOVE how they send pictures/videos daily along with everything they do throughout the day & lesson plans. I've never been more comfortable sending my kids to Right Steps. Very fun for the kids as they are always giving back and doing special parties & activities. I also have to add in that this is the cleanest daycare I've been in. read more

I highly recommend Right Steps Academy for any parent looking for a high-quality preschool for their child. My child has been attending the school since he was three years old and we have been extremely satisfied with the care and education he has received. They recently changed hands and the entire school has been elevated since. The teachers are incredibly supportive and have worked one-on-one to help him gain important skills in language and fine motor coordination. The Director, Cindy, is also very involved and knows every student and parent by name, which has made the transition to the school much smoother. My son just loves it here! The first 5 years in a child's life is foundational to the remainder of their life! I'm so glad I started him at Right Steps Academy so he can learn and grow. His teacher, Ms. Isabel is nothing short of fantastic. She understands the age she teaches and has played a critical role is helping my little one develop his fine motor skills, practice early writing, and develop phonological awareness appropriate for his age. In addition she is teaching him patience, and waiting for his turn, and how to share with his friends- something he doesn't get at home due to being the only child right now. Absolutely love this academy, I never question my sons safety here. Constant updates throughout the day, they work with you on reaching milestones with your child. Every individual that has ever had to care for my child does it with such passion. I feel like I leave my son with his family everyday. I'm really happy with Right Step Academy my three-year-old joined a month ago. The classes are great for little kids, teaching them all sorts of things in a fun way.
