We went to Longwood, while I'd been there before I didn't know how well it would photograph at night. I also had only about 2 weeks to get a photographer. Thankfully Gretchen was there to save us all! She offered a call to clarify about the plan and recommend locations to propose at for better photos as well. This proved to be super helpful considering both my friend's now fiance and I knew nothing about proposals. On the day of, she stayed in constant contact for the surprise photos and charged in the moment the proposal began. The couple received about 30 photos (granted they were at night with very little lighting) but she said that usually couples receive 50+ photos on sessions w good lighting.

We had so many different logistics for them to be at from the hotel, to the first look in another location, to the venue in a different location from the first two and they got their every single time even before we did without a million questions for "where should I park" or "do we have to pay for parking" etc which a lot of vendors kept messaging us about the morning of the wedding which was annoying lol... they just did it / figured it out which I was grateful for. A dwarf star of excellence? A teacup elephant of professionalism? A SmartCar of happiness? Well, she is all those things and more. Lindsay was one of two photographers we hired to shoot our wedding. We had seen her work before, and were captivated by her detail work and wonderful compositions. Since we were doing a very small 'pop-up' style wedding, we knew we wanted someone who would not only be able to capture the short ceremony, but also the entire day surrounding it as we traveled from the hotel to meet our family, and all left together for the reception dinner. Her images could not have been any better. The sheer joy of the day, and our love for each other was perfectly translated from 3 to 2 dimensions. Let me start by saying she takes beautiful pictures. I am not discrediting her photography skills…read more However, she is sneaky & unpleasant to work with. My family did not enjoy our session with her & I will never use her services again specifically because of our interactions during & after taking pictures. Example: she was going to charge me extra for additional pictures (I was happy to pay) but didn't actually have additional pictures/poses to provide. I had to call her out on this. Also, she had a picture I wanted & knew we took but "couldn't find it" when I asked for it (again, offered to pay extra for it) simply because she was frustrated with my requests to edit pictures she should have already edited before providing the gallery to me. Disappointing experience.
