I believe I paid ~$380. The work they did solved my problems - or I thought so at the time. Around a month later I wanted to keep the patio screen door to allow my dog to go from the patio to the yard. The silver piece that holds the door open was not there. I called 5 times with no call back. I left messages. i finally called the emergency number and the gentleman asked me to send a picture. I did. No response. I guess I can just try to buy the piece THAT COMES WITH THE CONTROLLER and pay someone else to do this again??? Service after the sale is non existent.

I hired Ken and Alisa Heverly's New Vision Builders LLC to rebuild my house after it was heavily…read moredamaged by Hurricane Florence. Ken and Alisa and their subcontractors did a fantastic job, and for all practical purposes I ended up with a brand new house that I am very proud of. Every aspect of the project went smoothly. Ken and Alisa not only did everything I asked of them (including innovations and upgrades), but they also gave me good guidance and counsel along the way -- the result being a much better house than the "old" one. Ken was on site daily, making sure the subcontractors did everything to his own satisfaction as well as mine. He also made a significant and favorable impact on the negotiations with my insurance company. My advice to anyone reading this: whether you have in mind a new, custom-built house or a remodeling project, putting your trust in New Vision Builders LLC is the way to go! Start by phoning them at 252-241-1010. I chose New Vision Builders LLC from among the three general contractors I considered post-Florence, and I could see from the outset that I made the right choice.

The project took an additional THREE months to complete and we basically managed the project at the end. Thankfully we also hired an interior designer who helped with much of the decision making and coordination. As the weather has warmed up, we noticed that one of the rooms is very, very hot. After repeated calls, text messages and requests to James and Brad, they have failed to address this problem. It's clear that there is not enough insulation from the attic space and dormer windows in this new room. It has been over a month since James let us know that he would address this problem and nothing has been done. Based on their lack of communication and follow up, I would highly recommend not going with this company for your project.

RGR replaced a pretty complex roof for us on our oceanfront home. The roof is a low slope roof and is metal framed and welded to the metal frame of the actual home. Both the owner, Greg, and Greg Ford met us at the house to go over the specifics of the job and the logistics of moving and storing materials on the barrier island. We were kept in the loop throughout the process and we sent many pictures during installation. I am impressed with the skill of the crew as well as the oversight by both owner and supervisor as the work progressed. We will be meeting this fall to go over some other upgrades to our house. With confidence, I strongly recommend using RGR Construction!
