If you are new to the field of ITC, then please scroll to the bottom of the page for an explanation. ___________________________________________ Rose Hill is a sprawling, three-acre cemetery located in the heart of Rifle, Colorado. The grounds are well manicured and easy to maneuver, making this a popular spot for joggers and dog walkers. I spotted several locals, pooches in tow, on the day I visited but was able to conduct my investigation unmolested. For this investigation, I used two well-regarded ITC apps (Spiritus and DeadWave) and two devices sent to me by my friends at GhostStop.com: the SBox (a hacked FM/AM radio, EVP recorder, and Bluetooth speaker all in one) and The Rook, a 3D-printed EMF detector. The latter is designed to detect electromagnetic fluctuations, which can indicate spiritual presence. Over the course of approximately ninety minutes, I documented some amazing evidence of the paranormal, including several direct replies to my questions. Shortly after introducing myself and explaining my intent (nothing nefarious, I always assure the spirits), I felt inexplicably drawn to the grave of James Harris (1918-1987). I asked Mr. Harris if he could validate his presence by saying his name. Seconds later, the name "James" came through my DeadWave app. On multiple occasions in the past, I have asked spirits why they remain earthbound. The responses have varied, with some spirits telling me they require "the light" to move on, others implying that they choose to remain earthbound, and a few saying that they have the ability to visit (astral travel?) at will. When I asked Mr. Harris that question, I received the following message: "Between here...and dead." I then asked if he had a message he wanted me to relay to a friend or loved one. The reply: "Visit Patrick." I searched for a grave belonging to a Patrick but found no one by that name. The message made no sense to me, but perhaps it will resonate with someone who reads this review. Before I left his plot, I asked Mr. Harris if he could provide one last validation. I asked specifically for his last name and heard, "Harris." I thanked him for speaking and continued my investigation. The next few minutes were relatively quiet, though I did hear my name come through several times. As I approached the grave of Fred Sayre (1884-1940), however, The Rook began to flash, indicating a nearby source of energy. EMF detectors are sometimes prone to false readings, so I conducted an experiment. I placed The Rook at his grave and asked whomever was present to make the device flash on command. This occurred four times in a row, proving to me that the source of energy was indeed intelligent. Without being prompted, Mr. Sayre spoke his full name and said, "Your ra...dio...," making this the third time in a year that a spirit has commented on my devices. The first occurrence happened at Sunset Memorial in San Antonio, where I captured two or more spirits engaging in a conversation about my "futuristic radio." The second occurrence happened four months ago at Lockhart Memorial Park, when a spirit spoke of my "radio" as being "incredible." Based on my findings, I can only assume that spirits are fascinated by these new ITC technologies. The Rook also lit up near the grave of Denisse Rodriguez (1988-2010; sadly, no accompanying message) and the closer I approached a tattered, discarded angel doll (see video clip). I'm not sure what to make of the latter finding, but perhaps a spirit from the cemetery is using the doll as a vessel. At the very least, it was definitely emitting energy. Followers of mine are no stranger to "Gia," the five-inch porcelain doll who arranges my belongings (games, clothes, DVDs, Nintendo memorabilia) into triangles and anthropomorphic designs while I'm out of the house. The "haunted doll" trope has been done to death in Hollywood ("Annabelle," "Child's Play," etc.), but I am convinced that spirits often do transmigrate into dolls. _______________________________________________ For those new to the field of "ghost hunting," a term I dislike due to its implications (I'm not "hunting" for ghosts), instrumental trans-communication (ITC) refers to the use of physical "spirit boxes" and apps to communicate with spirits. These devices facilitate communication by providing phonetic gibberish (random audio samples, white noise) that spirits can manipulate to form words and sentences. Spirits don't use their own voices; they use whatever audio source the operator provides. ITC is similar to electronic voice phenomena (EVP), but the latter refers to disembodied voices captured from thin air, which even the most seasoned paranormal researchers have difficulty obtaining. ITC typically yields more impressive results, as spirits seem to be more adroit at manipulating raw audio than they are at producing EVP.

They gave the utmost respect for my dad while in their care and worked hard to get the things my dad wanted for his funeral. I cannot believe how comforting and attentive they were to our entire family. Legacy went out of their way to accommodate and make us feel loved. To top it off, Jerry even offered his suit jacket to my mother on the day of the funeral as the rain poured down. You CANNOT get any better than that. Grandpa looked terrible, had jaundice, he looked green and his mouth was open at the Rosary. The obit and Memory folders were incorrect. No refund. The owner is an alcoholic named Trey Holt. My neighbors worked for them. Nazi's. Do not use them. Disgrace to the community. Not nice people.

I really appreciate the sincerity and good customer service. I truly believe that Brandon was genuinely concerned with how distraught my family was over the wrong urns, and not just how it made Brown's look. Although the initial service was unfortunate and subpar, I believe the customer service, which involved Brown's taking full responsibility and monetary remedies, warrants an upgrade in review.
