The good news is I have now seen so many different Drs and staff members I think I can actually give a good feel for the energy and work ethic of this group! Coming from working in animal hospital during most of my grooming career I suppose I could be a little picky or over critical. I tried multiple clinics before finding Redmond Vet! I have a sweet pug Dexter who was having eye issues a few years ago post covid every place was not taking new clients or booked out 6 months. I had been to two different emergency clinics in the area and Dexters eye wasn't getting better. Then I met Dr. Curt and was immediately impressed. Kind hearted, compassionate and made me feel like a neighbor or friend he explained all the issues in a way I could understand and worked diligently to fight the antibiotic resistant infection my little guy had! Since then I have seen Dr. Sean who is so colorful and fun I really enjoy him! Now to my most recent experience with Dr.Casse this isn't the first time I've seen her, my lab had a small issue last year and I knew I liked this Dr right away dealing with her then so I have since requested her. Fast forward to today when my poodle Delilah started haveing horrible issues, Dr. Casse got us in right away. She was very conscious of my financial situation and compassionate to the fact that I was extremely worried about my girl. She took immediate action and included me in all decision making. Delilah is now set up for surgery Wednesdays and I trust Dr. Casse with her 100 percent. I own my own business grooming dogs here in town and recommend all of my clients here, I am so confident in the staff to be kind courteous and help all these sweet animals. It's easy to give superior service and care when your pet is healthy and the news is all good. Unfortunately, I had to make the extremely difficult choice to euthanize both of my cats in the past year. Both were patients of Cinder Rock. I had the opportunity to interact with almost all of the vets on staff throughout this very painful period. They always advocated for my cat first and told me what I needed to know in the most compassionate and caring way. One cat was on fluids for a year, and Cinder Rock was always ready with supplies, even when I had to have them mailed. Once, when I thought it was time to say goodbye, the vet walked me through giving my cat more time with quality of life. When it was time to let them both go, the team at Cinder Rock was there in the most loving and beautiful way. A team came to our home and helped us let go and send our beloved animal family members to their next adventure in the best and most loving and supportive experience. The cremation services from Annie's Healing Hearts, who works with Cinder Rock, were just incredible. The cards and other items we received from both of them after the deaths were so touching and lovely. We looked at the reviews and figured we would try it. We walked in the door and were greeted by a vet tech who had a baby Bjorn on with a tiny puppy in it. When we asked about it, she told us the puppy was a rescue who was brought in with an abandoned litter and the office staff and vets agreed to help get the puppies nursed back to help until they could go to a foster home. The little guy was was very, very small and was so scared, he having a hard time adjusting. So, put him in the sling all day with her becuase she wanted him to feel safe and warm and loved. Our hearts melted! When we go into our pre-cleaning appointment, the vet who saw us and instantly plopped on the floor with our big dog and started to pet him and talk to him and love on him. She and the vet tech spent a good 10 minutes being sweet to him before they even started the exam. Our dog was instantly at ease and we knew we were in a good place. During his cleaning, we asked them to take bump off of his side that was not cancerous but was getting slightly bigger and worried us. The total bill for the cleaning, labs on the bump tissue, and the surgery was $440. The Highland team said our 6 year old dog had great teeth and just had a cleaning 2 years earlier and no cavities or need for extractions. Our old vet in Bend was going to charge us upwards of $1200 for the cleaning and the surgery. This office is not fancy. They don't have a palatial waiting room or exam rooms. They also don't try to sell you on a bunch of expensive products or procedures. Their annual shots are really affordable too. They just really love animals, won't recommend something unnecessary, and seem to really care about making our special pup feel good and stay healthy. I highly recommend this vet!

We did victory visits to get her used to the doctor's office and people before she had any check ups or treatments. They are very kind and patient. They have helped my dog with ear infections, annual shots, and a cut paw and they go at my dog's pace so she isn't upset. They are also very patient with nervous owners like me!
