This is not a review for the golf course, but rather their service. I got a flat tire just as I was passing the golf course and pulled to change it. Unfortunately, my spare tire was flat. However, the club manager (or whoever he was... not sure if his title) took me back to the golf cart area and filled it up with air. He did not seem annoyed by it in the slightest, and without the help, I would have had to get a tow or figure out something else. I was very appreciative of the help. read more

Used to love this course. Then they started catering to "members". When you arrive, no matter what your tee time is, the very rude guy that works there will tell you that you need to hurry because you will have a freight train behind you.... They never catch us. So not true. Usually we arrive early but one time a few weeks ago we were 2 mins late which was not our fault and he proceeded to berate us. He was acting a fool, yelling, throwing keys at us as he is meeting us half way to the parking lot. Telling ys, there is a reason for tee times and the whole freight train comment again. When I try to tell him that they never catch us, he begins to laugh, and being very snarky. He was like ok, well whatever. Never shuts up all the way to the bar for drinks. My husband ordered a bloody mary and the whole new more elevated rude attitude comes about. He was even cussing at us. Mind you, at this point we were still frequent flyers there. However, not any longer. We actually walked away, with no refund and no playing that day. We should have known better as 2 weeks prior we got a bad attitude out of him and we were early that day. The whole freight train comment that day also. His poor attitude should not be tolerated in a customer service based industry. But apparently that is the new norm there. And totally acceptable by the owner. The course is sub par at best and the grounds keepers are usually in the way. So not worth what you pay to play anyways. The guy really needs to reevaluate how he speaks to and treats people. One day it may be the wrong person he speaks to that way. Then it could end a lot differently then people just walking away read more

Had to call for a tee time today, apparently the website tee time system was down. They were able to get us out fairly easily. Paid our fee, not horrible, but not cheap. Arrived at first tee box. Could not tell where the tee box was except for tee markers, meaning nothing was mowed, including fairways and roughs. Greens were fine. Very slow, assume from morning rains, putted OK. Problem was, when you are riding in your cart and you have to search for your golf ball in the middle of the fairway, because the grass is as long as the rough, and oh yeah, the tee boxes. Can't say I will be back anytime soon. To me, there is no excuse, as that golf course has plenty of play, and need to invest that back into the simple things on the course, like mowing. I hosted a 50th birthday party here and the manager Michael was amazing to work with and the day of the event his staff was so helpful. I would highly recommend renting the facility for a birthday party, wedding, reunion, or retirement party. We rented a tent, had live music outside and the food was inside, the club house is nice and the bathrooms are updated. If I need a location in the future I would host again there due to location and ease of use. read more

Scheduled a tee time two weeks in advanced for 10 people, called a few days later to confirm in which we found out they had to move our time an hour earlier (which we were fine with) due to an outing of 60 people. The day before we were supposed to golf we received a call from the manager stating our time has to be moved AGAIN, which was frustrating but fine. We split the groups into 4 and 6, when we were halfway through hole 18, an old grouchy man approached us telling us that it was not acceptable to have 6 people on a hole and that we needed to split up. (Which the golf outing had 5-6 people per hole). So we moved to hole 1 and decided one person was going to sit out and ride along instead. The old grouchy man followed us through the hole, yelling while approaching us. He was very disrespectful, questioning our golf etiquette and told us repeatedly to never come back. This resulted in 2 of our golfers to leave. After finishing our round, we went into the clubhouse to speak to the manager about the issue and yet again, the old grouchy man approached us questioning what we needed help with times (he asked us approximately 5 times) We waited patiently for the manager and when he arrived the old man continued to interrupt our conversation that he wasn't even apart of and again told us to never come back in a very aggressive and inappropriate manner. The current manager didn't seem to take the conversation seriously as he laughed at the comments and allowed it to continue. This unfortunately was done in front of golfers entering the clubhouse. The manager ended up following us to the parking lot and told us if we were to come back, that we should call first to see if the old man is working. After our terrible experience, we decided to read previous reviews in which we unfortunately weren't the only ones to receive this unprofessional treatment from the old man (Pat) who also happened to be the previous manager years ago (thankfully he's no longer in this role). This was our first time visiting the course and most likely our last. read more

We called in days before to schedule a tee time for group of 10. To play best ball. One of the employees told us to be there by 8:15am at the latest. The next day he called back and switched us to be there at 10. We played the back 9 to begin with a team of 4 and our team of 6. Some guy that worked there made his way to us at hole 18 saying we needed to split up and it was not golf etiquette to play with that many people (again, 6 people). We got to hole 1 where no one was waiting and had one person sit out in our group. The guy came back and told us to split up again, and we told him one person was sitting out. He didn't care so we asked for our money back where he told us " to leave and never come back". Worst golf experience I've ever had. read more

This is a nice course, well maintained, and pretty good for beginners. Which is what I am :) Been here twice and always able to move around easily with short it no waits. read more

I have golfed for 20 years now. 15 of them sporadically here. I have never had as poor of an experience than what I just had. I had a tee time and was a solo golfer. The first employee I talked to immediately said I was all set and sent me to start off the back. Old manager stopped me and tried pairing me with another solo golfer, but on this day I wanted to play solo. Hey, who wants to be forced to spend 4 hours of your day with a stranger since I was playing 18. So after almost a half hour being wasted arguing with old dude (while I could've already been to hole 12) he "let's" me play by myself but forces me to wait behind a group of 3, 2, 4, and oddly 7. I am a patient man and do not mind waiting...but when you see a half dozen other solo golfers (playing solo) it gets a bit irritating and when did golf rules change..I was always taught let solo guys play thru cause they're quicker. read more
