I personally witnessed multiple incidents of rude teacher interactions with children as opposed to what one learns in childhood development courses and Montessori training. It does not appear that there is a proper phonics or Montessori math curriculum in place for younger children. Looking at pictures and guessing at words is not reading! Bullying is permitted depending on the interconnected relationships of staff and parents of affected children are told 'nothing happened' even in the face of reality. I remember this school being pretty good in passing the AP exams and being top dog in baseball. I also remember being tricked about the Q hall and the dead prom queen and the pool under D hall. I remember also about my friend seeing the ghost in M hall, the woman who died after giving birth in the bathroom. Too many dumb things I remember from high school and it puts a smile on my lips.

The High School has a nice modern looking building however its most noteworthy feature is "The Pit" The Trona team plays on a "field" that is hard packed sand. The combination of heat and brackish water will not allow for turf. The team takes great pride in the toughness required to play a contact sport not only on such a hard surface but in the often crushing heat! It is worth a stop to see such a magnificent field and admire anybody willing to play on it!

On the other hand this program I have to give a star or it won't let me post!! There are only 5 full pay families through this program and they are all Government Contractors probably. They don't except checks because they want everything under the table so they can stay a non-profit organization, then here comes the kicker, I was told today the state doesn't pay for my child to go to school, and I already called the state and was told they receive $21.00 a day for every child that ATTENDS no matter if they pay or not. But they will still charge $21.00 for full pay families even if your child misses a day of school.. So point proven from the school district it's self THEY MAKE A PROFIT!!! Also was told one thing and then something different happens can you say false statements I CAN!!! They only accept cash, money orders, or anything non traceable HIDING something are we??? UM YES!!!
