What an amazing experience we had today at Urgent Pet Care. Our almost 16 year old fur baby (dog)…read morewas experiencing extreme tooth pain and needed to be treated immediately ON A SUNDAY. How fortunate we were to find Dr. Axelband and Jaz. We gave them a call, explained his symptoms and headed right over for an evaluation. We were greeted by Jaz who was so kind and accommodating. We were immediately brought into the exam room and within a few minutes Dr. Axelband came to examine Jack. Jaz was caressing and comforting my baby the entire time as the Dr. explained what his treatment plan would be. We agreed to his plan and within a few minutes the Dr and Jaz were taking Jack to remove 2 teeth that were causing him the pain. Shortly afterwards they came out with Jack and he was done , ready to go and already almost back to his normal self. We were back home within the hour and thankfully my fur baby is up and about eating his favorite treat... watermelon. Unbelievable! Oh, and their fees are very reasonable. Thanks again Dr. Axelband and Jazmine. You are the BEST!

By late night he was having difficulties breathing and had ended up causing himself to suffer from heat stroke. She thought the absolute worst was happening, due to his symptoms. We recommend Urgent Pet Care for any pet emergency!!!!

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS TO CARE FOR YOUR ANIMALS. I've used Emerald Hills Animal for…read moreyears as a vet, boarding facility, and for the occasional bath for my two dogs. Recently, I boarded my dogs there. Although I typically have them bathed prior to going home, I planned to do it myself this time. However, when I picked up my pups one had feces caked around his butt, urine all over his body, and mats throughout his coat. The next morning, after I attempted to wash and brush him, I met with the office manager and groomer. Instead of addressing the issue, they blamed me for the mats, claiming my dog had arrived in that condition. They suggested that this is why they recommend a bath before sending pets home. The blame and suggestion wasn't adding up. If this story doesn't deter you from using their services, please document your dog's condition before dropping them off. Ensure there is a review process in place, where both parties are aware of the condition of your pet. Know that while you're away, your pet could end up sitting in feces, covered in urine, and fully matted, and you might never know if you paid for an intensive bath. Our furry children can't speak up, it's our job to make sure they are well cared for. Emerald Hills Animal Hospital- as a supposed provider of care for our animals you must do better.

On the very same day my cat, Colt, experienced a major urinary emergency, my father suffered a massive stroke, which took his life just days later. I was pulled in two impossible directions at once, and the team at Wilton Manors Animal Hospital stepped in and carried me -- and my fur-baby -- through it... Their medical care for Colt was exceptional, but what I will never forget is the love, kindness, and emotional care they showed my family and me during the worst days of my life. A very special and prominent thank-you to Rashad, who made daily calls and left voicemails updating me on Colt's condition. He didn't just provide clinical updates -- he made sure I knew Colt was doing well, that I didn't need to worry, and that I should focus fully on my family and my father during his stroke and passing. That level of compassion is rare. It was genuine, steady, and deeply comforting when I needed it most. Colt is thriving today because of this incredible team, and I will be forever grateful. This is now -- without question -- my forever veterinary practice for all current and future pets. I truly cannot offer higher praise or deeper thanks for the care they showed my fur-baby and my family during our loss. From the bottom of my heart: thank you, The Hirt Family & Colt

Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the most disappointing of all. My dog was seen by Dr. Amaya, a doctor I had never met in all my years coming to this location. While checking my dog, he immediately began pointing out supposed issues with my dog's fur and even suggested his face looked "bitten." In six years, no other doctor at VCA has ever mentioned anything like this. This clinic repeatedly contacted me to come in for annual check and shots, so we went -- only for the doctor to immediately recommend a hormone test, claiming there was something wrong with his skin and coat. The sudden shift in tone and the push for additional testing felt untrustworthy and unsettling. After this experience, I no longer feel confident bringing my dog here. I do not trust this clinic with his care, and I cannot recommend VCA Stirling Conner.

I've brought several of my furbabies here and always feel confident they're in the best hands. Living in Miami-Dade, I've found that many specialist vet clinics are extremely expensive here, but this hospital is refreshingly fair with pricing. More importantly, I genuinely feel their priority is my pets' well-being, not just maximizing costs. My most recent visit was with Dr. Rabacca Kikulian, and she was exceptional. From the moment she interacted with my cat, her gentle, calm approach immediately put both of us at ease. She took the time to comfort him, holding him on her lap and making sure he was relaxed before beginning the exam... something I've never experienced with another vet. She was thorough, patient, and explained everything clearly, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. I'm truly grateful to her and the entire team for the compassionate care they provide. Highly recommend.

So I was on here a couple of weeks ago, and I gave a well-deserved negative review for the…read morespecialist that I saw there because she changed my dogs cancer treatment in midstream for what I consider an invalid reason and then she turned very nasty and hateful towards me because she for no reason at all suddenly from one day to the next called me and insisted that I put my dog to sleep. What I'm referring to specifically is that my dog had kidney challenges along with suffering from cancer because one of the tumors was in one of her kidneys, so my dogs, creatinine numbers had been going up when this doctor first took her as a patient, but the numbers kept going up and because of this this specialist all of a sudden from one day to the next called me at home on a Thursday morning in a very hateful manner, insisting that I put my dog to sleep when she was still playful and active and still eating and drinking from a bowl and she was not in any condition to be put to sleep. Also, I am somebody who really does not believe in euthanasia except as a very last resort when an animal is suffering so badly and there is absolutely no treatment or medication that can help them. My dog was still playful and active and barking and eating and drinking, etc. and this doctor just calls me out of the blue on a Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in a hateful manner and tells me that I must put my dog to sleep within a day or two because her creatinine numbers were going up. Anyway, that was the reason for the negative review and my dog has since passed away. This all happened over a month ago. After I put my review, I got a very nice message actually too very nice messages from the assistant manager of Broward veterinary specialist by the name of Amanda. I unfortunately did not receive her messages until about a week later because I was so busy caring for my very sick little doggy by that time at the beginning of April, my doggy was having to be hand, fed and cared for a lot and basically I had to get up every few hours to take care of her and I was not checking my telephone messages as much as I should have so I missed her calls and I did not get her messages until after my precious doggy passed away on April 8. When I got the messages that the assistant manager, Amanda had left me from Broward veterinary specialist, wanting to speak to me about this situation, I try to respond to her by telephone and by email and I did not get any response and I am afraid that she is not receiving my messages because I can't understand why if she tried two times to reach me and I'm answering her back. why wouldn't she call me back. It does not make sense and I'm afraid she is not receiving the messages that I sent her by email and by phone so that is why I'm putting this review on here, hoping that she will see this and she will see that I tried to respond to her and hopefully she will get back to me to discuss this horrible situation. It is heartbreaking enough to have a precious little doggy who you've had since she was a little puppy and who was almost 14 years old and who was so sick with cancer it's heartbreaking enough to go through that situation and then have your precious doggy passed away but to have a specialist who you went to to get help treat you in such a hateful manner and to take your doggy treatment away in midstream for no reason I just don't understand it at all I really don't. Anyway, I'm hoping that management will see this review and that this assistant manager will realize that I did respond to her and that she will get back to me.
