I was contacted when I left a review which was low due to no one getting back to me. They reached out to see if I needed help. I called and talked to two people. They went over and beyond to get my business. They did videos. They drove it and showed me that in a video. They took photos. They emailed and talked to my wife and I about a purchase. We chose not to buy from them, but it had nothing to do with the business or the people who work there. It came down to the seller who consigned with them. Him misplacing the VIN on his vehicle was a red flag for us and we do not understand how you lose a VIN Tag on such an expensive rebuild of a nice truck. read more

Very impressed with the way they made my 14 year old car look new despite the dog hair.

I purchased a 1955 Bel-Air from Rides on their Ebay site. They talked about how great the condition of the car. What good job someone did restoring it. They even did a video for me and walked around the car. Not one time did they mention any issues with the car. Not in the video not in the Ebay ad. When the car gets here it was a piece of junk. Paint was flawed in many places, I had to repaint almost all the panels. The car had no power, it started and ran but that's about it. The chrome was pitted on the door handles and wind wings. The chrome trim on the car had dents and dings and I had to replace 5 or 6 pieces around the car. It leaked about a quart of oil every 3 days when I got it. The glove box was empty just a hole, Gas gauge didn't work, blinkers didn't work, Dome light did not work, power brakes did not work and speedometer did not work. Replaced Carb, Distributor, Radiator & Fans, Gas tank Gauge, Door handles, speedometer, antenna, power brake booster, glove box, stereo, speakers all rubber seals for doors and trunk, had to touch up paint on most panels and color sand and buff the entire car. I've got a few hundred hours of my time making this car what it should have been when I bought it. I called them when the car arrived and told them about the issues and they said what did you expect a 70K car. Well I paid 40K for it and I expected a very nice car for that money and it was a piece of junk. It looked great from 10 feet away in pics and the video was good because they avoided showing the issues on camera. They did not mention ANY, NOT 1 single issue with the car. read more

STAY AWAY! Sold me a $16000 1967 Buick Skylark, including shipping, and on day 1 of registering it and taking it for my first ride on the highway, the drive shaft just fell off. I swear this also actually happened, there was a motorcycle right behind me, he had to swerve badly to avoid hitting it. I took pictures of us broken down on the highway, pictures of it being towed and pictures of the undercarriage showing no driveshaft and sent it all to Rides and in almost 2 weeks, they never got back to me. To start, I don't usually bother with this sort of thing, but in this case I have to make an exception. I purchased a "Rotisserie restored, everything is new" (their words, not mine), 68 camaro from this company and what I received was FAR from a car that needs nothing. It looks great in the pictures and quite frankly in the driveway as long as you don't try to drive it. I basically spent a ton on a project car, the more I look, the more I find. Let see.. Motor blows oil out the top and bottom end, pools in the intake manifold on both sides and under the car. Radiator blows coolant. Rust was prevelant on the left front side of the car from the radiator leak. Paint in engine compartment and under hood is a mess due to the radiator leak The battery tray was rusted pretty badly from the battery leaking battery acid. Turns out to be the charging system was a mess overheating the battery. Tranny leaks from the pan (gasket shot), speedometer cable and tail housing gasket. Rear tire had deep cuts in several places which they tried to blame on the shipper, until I blew up a picture on their web site which clearly showed it. First time I drove the car to get registered, it would not crank, totally dead when I tried to leave. This lead me to look into the charging system, etc. Had to replace the battery, both battery cables and correct all the grounding issues High beems don't work, short out the system when you try to use them Cig lighter does not work (and rusted internally) Brakes, how shall I say it, can't stop the car from anything except a flat surface. Steering box is shot causing the car to wander all over the road. The passager side window would not crank up past 3/4 way, found the bolts fell out. Chip in paint in the nose section (which was badly touched up) Gas cap missing gasket, causing the cap to fall off when you drive it. Trunk lid will not stay up at all, incorrect spring for application Left Turn signal cam broken Radio antenna not installed, sitting in back seat Headers are rusted. Holley carb installed is actually an off road carb, incorrect for application I could go on, but I'll stop here Some points from their advertisement.... "Show Quality Paint".... not with the chip in the nose and the engine compartment "Everything is NEW".... guess not. "Fit and finish is second to none and there is not enough adjectives to describe this car".. (I have a few adjectives) "Drives like no other"..... Well I guess I can't argue with that one "Rotisserie restoration".... More like an unfinished project I'm looking at a ton of cash just to get this car drive-able, period. Best part, when I brought this to their attention, they offered.. Ready for this. To pay for a new rear tire. Run don't walk read more
