This is one of the original restaurants on this block which is now full of restaurants, many…read moreoffering the same things. I have friends who are locals who have frequented this particular restaurant for many years and say this is the best. This particular establishment is known for their traditional tacos al pastor as well as the "Arab tacos" which are served on fresh pita bread rather than tortillas. I would have tried the Arab tacos, however I really enjoy the traditional ones served with tortillas. They actually have several other kinds of tacos and tortas (large sandwiches on a fresh roll). This restaurant is a little loud and boisterous. It is a favorite hang out for locals. They offer downstairs and upstairs dining rooms. Both levels are open to the street. Our servers were friendly and efficient. The food was brought quickly and I thought it was great! Not everyone who serves tacos al Pastor includes a chunk of pineapple, but this one does. I think that makes a big difference and really enjoy the pineapple on it. Where we sat there was a large screen TV right over our table which was a little distracting and it made a little bit difficult to hold a conversation. They were playing music videos, and the speaker was right over our table as well. Thankfully they did play a variety of music genres. First ones playing were ones I did not enjoy, but then they played others which I did. Everything from música de banda to hip hop, Taylor Swift and the Beatles. I think the tables closer to the balcony would've been less loud and preferable. The bathroom was also clean. The customers were mostly adults but there were also some families there, and everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. I was surprised that they also offer some tempting desserts such as crepes with Nutella. I ordered the pineapple frozen dessert which was served in an actual pineapple! They had several other flavors also served within the skin or outside of the particular fruit. It was quite delicious! I think this is a great place to meet up with friends, have dinner and hang out. I really enjoyed it and believe you will too!

Excelente comida, gran servicio, precios ok un sentar abajo y dentro el restaurante. No sentarse cerca de la parrilla, muy ahumada y caliente a veces. Cerveza fría y bar completa.
