He started off strong with great communication first two weeks of…read moreworking with him, was very on top of his things, and then out of nowhere on week 3, he completely shifted and began to lack on communication. He was saying he was going to work on multiple properties to put offers on without viewing them(which we found out that is not standard practice without at least touring the homes). Despite multiple promises to "work on things," nothing was ever actually confirmed and took very long to respond. He then wanted to arrange times to view properties, again did not confirm, and a day later after trying to reach him he replied that he had a child care emergency (which is not a problem for us BUT the complete lack of transparency and follow through was frustrating; it felt as if we wasted a weeks worth of potential properties.) Even though we replied, he however never got back to us again. This is a very unprofessional approach to any client. Honestly felt like there was no reason for this Overall, the experience felt careless, unreliable, and far below the level of professionalism one would expect when making major financial decisions. Don't recommend.

Almost 4 years ago I purchased a house in Sonora to be a rental property. Shortly after the…read morepurchase of my house, I learned that very important known safety issues were not disclosed by the sellers nor their agent. After unsuccessful litigation, the cost to make the repairs outweighed the potential advantage of completing them. I knew I could not use an agent in the Sonora area after the litigation and looked outside the area. While looking on yelp, I saw a realtor named Scott Cary who had outstanding reviews from his clients. I phoned Scott who answered his phone and told him the circumstances around the property I had purchased. Scott totally understood my situation and said he would like to help me sell the house. Scott asked numerous questions and completed a market analysis to get the best possible dollar amount we could for the property I liked Scott's straightforward, honest, and no BS approach to the sale and marketing of my house. I subsequently signed on with Scott to be my representative in my home sale. Because of the known issues which had to be disclosed unlike the previous owners and agent, Scott walked me through the entire process and advised me of legal and moral obligations in my home sale. The house sale was not easy due to the previous conditions and repairs needed. We had a few offers most of which were not beneficial to me nor was there a good likelihood of closing because of financial issues of the potential buyers. Scott presented the offers to me and advised me of his opinion and thoughts about the offers including both plus and minus points. Scott acted in my best interest and guided me through the offers with knowledge, experience, and the presence to look out for my best interest. After several months, we finally received an offer that Scott felt was strong and had a great likelihood of success. Due to his recommendations, I accepted the offer and the house sale went through flawlessly and quickly. I want to say throughout the entire process which lasted quite a while, Scott always remained upbeat, undisturbed, very professional, and most important, looked out for my financial well-being during the sale of my home. I highly recommend you contact Scott Cary for all your real estate needs. I guarantee you won't be sorry and you will receive service beyond expectations, and no doubt greater than any other real estate agent!

If I could give zero star review I would…read more The seller agent somehow did less than bare minimum. Prior to this experience, did not think it was possible! First, he said we should go see the property prior to putting remote offer, so both we (the buyer) and buyer's agent arrived from 4+ hours away. The seller agent was only 2 hours away and not only did not arrive, also did not provide lock box code (that was not electronic box). The Supra box in this county did not work for our agent who is out of county. And then did not respond to phone calls when we waited for 2+ hours calling him, how to get access to the property, even though the viewing was scheduled ahead of time. During the offer process he first said the buyer would review offers on Monday. When on Sunday afternoon our realtor reached out to confirm that offers would be considered on Monday, were told, no actually it was moved up to later today. We barely had time to get our offer in. And by some miracle our offer won out of all competing offers. The house is beautiful, and the sellers are the sweetest people. But the seller's realtor would just disappear. Did not sign even important disclosures. Would not pass communication between neither feom seller nor from buyer. After closing, we have asked repeatedly for the seller's agent to finally remove the realtor Supra lockbox. It has been 1.5 MONTHS after closing, and the lockbox is still not removed. Our agent has escalated to the broker weeks ago. Ok it's a "longer drive" of 1-2 hours, ok one week passes. Ok an excuse of I'm so busy or I was not feeling well another week. But literally counting time in months now. Since the brokerage tolerates this kind of unprofessionalism as "acceptable" behavior, speaks volumes to the low standard of this firm. I thought real estate agents have to at least do the minimum to collect their commission. Such as ensure interested buyers can get on premise to view the property at scheduled time, to not lose out on any offers, or sign legally obligatory documents (without buyer's agent filling out "refused to sign" forms), and finally removing the realtor lockbox off after closing. Beware! Your best interest as neither a seller nor a buyer would not be represented by this firm.
